If yesterday's interview with Richard Armitage didn't get you excited enough for Peter Jackson's adaptation of "The Hobbit," then today's first look at the dwarves should put you over the edge.
A photo has been released of the three brother dwarves in the film: Nori (Jed Brophy), Ori (Adam Brown) and Dori (Mark Hadlow). Other than Gimli in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, we haven't met our fair share of dwarves in Jackson's universe. That's all about to change with "The Hobbit," but it's nice to see that the costuming is in line with the previous trilogy and that the attempt at continuity (which we never doubted would occur) is definitely there.

The dwarves are definitely at the forefront of "The Hobbit," despite the fact its namesake is of a different species (oh hey there Bilbo), so we're looking forward to seeing what they look like in action in addition to the promotional material.
Our bet is that we're going to get a great first look at the dwarves and some other new footage at "The Hobbit's" Comic-Con panel, especially with the deluge of content being released recently. But for now we're satisfied with the fact that the dwarves look cool and not corny, which they very easily could have been, and also that they seem to have distinct personalities.
