Can it really be only 37 days until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" hits theaters? With the end of "Potter" in sight, it's the perfect time to start looking back at the beginning of the franchise. And, to us, any day is a good day to look at the young stars in their earliest days in this epic franchise.

Fortunately the perfect solution to our nostalgia has been found. Video of the very first "Potter" screen test between Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint has hit the web, and it's everything that we could have hoped it would be, and maybe even a little more.

Let the cuteness ensue.

James FrancoFROM MTV NEWSROOM: James Franco is already the hyphenate's hyphenate, but now, the acting-directing-art-making-multiple-university-attending-cat-bench-pressing-frequently-squinting star is adding another prefix to his eternally lengthening list of gigs: musician.

Well, sort of. Because while Franco has joined forces with "video/performance artist" Kalup Linzy to create the aptly-named duo Kalup & Franco (they'll release their debut EP, Turn It Up on July 12, through DJ /rupture's Dutty Artz label), based on what we've seen so far — namely, a live performance of "Proud Mary" — Franco doesn't actually seem to be doing much in the way of actual musicianship. Instead, he just sort of stands there in a tuxedo, looking handsome, while someone else vamps and camps (which, if you think about it, is basically all he did when he hosted the Oscars, too.)

Blood is officially running all over your television set, and you have "Ironclad" to thank. Director Jonathan English's medieval action flick — which features an intensely talented cast of actors including James Purefoy, Paul Giamatti, Brian Cox, Derek Jacobi and Charles Dance — arrives on VOD today (June 8), and we've got an exclusive clip from the movie for your viewing pleasure.

"Ironclad" focuses on a group of Knights Templar who are at war with King John (Giamatti), the ruthless ruler on the cusp of signing the Magna Carta treaty. The people aren't particularly pleased with their "good" king, and not without good reason. But John's fed up with rebellion and ungratefulness, as poor Brian Cox is about to learn the hard way.

The movie, which arrives on VOD today, lands in theaters on July 8.

Fans might have to wait until July 15 for the end of "Harry Potter" to finally come, but for stars Emma Watson and Tom Felton, the end came a long time ago.

MTV News caught up with Felton backstage at the MTV Movie Awards and asked him how he felt about the series coming to an end. "It's been over, like, a year and a half since we shot it," he said. Watson had similar sentiments, saying that it was "very strange" that the final "Potter" press tour would be taking place in little over a month.

When asked if she would shed any more tears over the "Potter" franchise, Watson laughed and said, "Maybe a few. Maybe one or two. Just little ones."

Michael Peña, welcome to the "Gangster Squad."

Director Ruben Fleischer, who's stepping behind the camera for his most dramatic picture to date in "Gangster Squad," revealed that Peña has joined the cast of the cops-and-gangsters period piece during the MTV Sneak Peek Week premiere of "30 Minutes or Less."

Peña, who also stars in "30 Minutes," is climbing aboard in an unspecified role alongside the previously cast Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Sean Penn. Anthony Mackie is also supposedly up for a part, though he recently told us that his involvement is just a rumor right now. Shooting kicks off in September.

We're more than a little bit excited to see what Fleischer does with "Gangster," but we're just as thrilled by the possibility of a sequel to "Zombieland," the director's hilarious big-screen debut. Talk of "Zombieland 2" dates back to the first film's surprisingly successful box office launch, and while development isn't quite in high gear just yet, Fleischer says the horror comedy could be next on his list after "Gangster Squad."

Indiana Jones' trip to the "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" wasn't the globe-trotting archeologist's last crusade, it seems; according to franchise co-star Shia LaBeouf, a fifth "Indiana" outing is just around the corner.

"I talked to [Harrison Ford]," LaBeouf told MTV News when we got together with him at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards this past weekend. "He said he's staying in the gym, he said he's heard no word, but he does know that [George Lucas] is out there looking for a MacGuffin. He said he's staying in the gym, so it means [the movie is] not so far off."

Though "Horrible Bosses" stars Jason Bateman and Charlie Day might not have been up for any MTV Movie Awards, they still were a bit defensive about the way "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" swept Sunday's awards show.

"There's nothing but Brits," Bateman said. "Lots of Brits on stage."

Day agreed with Bateman's sentiments. "I think I'm up to 15 Brits, and why do we let them in here?" he deadpanned. "I mean, they win all our awards and they get all our acting jobs. You know, I could be a vampire. Not now, but 15 years ago."

Bateman seemed to doubt whether Robert Pattinson's accent was even real.
