Continuing the deluge of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" posters as we head into the final month before the film's release, today we have a companion poster released to go along with the ones we saw yesterday.
The first poster highlighted the good guys in the bunch -- Harry, Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys and Neville Longbottom, to name a few -- and this new one shows off our favorite baddies. There's Voldemort at the center, of course, with Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy flanking him, and Narcissa Malfoy looking on in the background. All this is set in the ruins of Hogwarts, as these posters have had a tendency to be, and the Death Eaters look poised for battle.
But there might be a little bit more to this poster if we read more into it. Spoilers up ahead!
If you've read the final book in J.K. Rowling's series, then you'll know that the Malfoys put family first when Voldemort picks a fight with Harry and the defenders at Hogwarts. That means they don't end up being Voldey's most loyal followers this time around, something that is foreshadowed in this poster.
Voldemort looks straight ahead with his wand readied for battle, so it shouldn't be so strange that Lucius also has his wand raised. But from where we're sitting, it looks like Papa Malfoy is actually eyeing Voldemort in the picture, instead of the wizards he will soon be battling. Finishing off this picture is Narcissa in the background looking wary and expectant. Of course, the Malfoys' betrayal of Voldemort isn't anything too drastic in the movie, but this poster certainly foreshadows it a bit.
With one month left until "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" hits theaters, we will most likely be seeing several more posters hit the web. Are there any that you haven't seen yet that you would like to? Tell us in the comments below or on Twitter!
