Talk about Judgment Day — while Arnold Schwarzenegger puts his movie career on hold, Vin Diesel gets ready to launch a "Terminator"-like franchise of his own.
THR reports that Diesel is producing and starring in "The Machine," a new movie that centers on "a human-like machine created in secrecy by the Pentagon as the world's first true ultimate weapon." Twenty years after it's decommissioned and buried away, the machine is discovered by a child and the two become friends. Sounds kind of like "Terminator" meets "Iron Giant," doesn't it?
