Rachel WeiszRachel Weisz is following the yellow brick road, and it's leading her to… Jason Bourne's replacement?

Following up on last week's report that the Oscar-winning actress was in talks for a role in Sam Raimi's "Oz the Great and Powerful" comes word from Deadline that Weisz is in even deeper talks to join Jeremy Renner in "The Bourne Legacy." No details on who Weisz would be playing, sadly, and it's possible that she won't be able to pursue both projects due to overlapping shooting schedules. As always, stay tuned.

There's plenty more casting news past the jump, including Alec Baldwin's potential departure from "Rock of Ages" and Kiefer Sutherland's latest heist!

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" sets sail in a week and a half from now, but you don't have to wait until May 20 to start getting excited about Captain Jack Sparrow's fantastic voyage back into theaters. Yesterday, I showed you MTV's re-cut version of the "Pirates" trailer, this time with enough Lego toys to fill out an armada. Pretty fun stuff — not to mention incredibly impressive, if I do say so myself, and even more so when you realize just how eerily similar our Lego trailer is to the actual "Pirates" preview.

See? Like I said, impressive! Big tip of the cap to MTV's Matt Harper and Brian Jacks for their hard work on this one. And I'm not the only one recognizing their efforts — indeed, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" director Rob Marshall has seen our Lego trailer, and he was similarly blown away by what he saw.

Woody HarrelsonFROM MTV MOVIES: The highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' dystopian best-seller "The Hunger Games" has been loading its cast with a slew of new faces, most recently Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane and two brand new actors as the District 10 tributes.

In addition to the casting announcements of high-profile stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Lionsgate has been revealing its Hunger Games tributes via its Facebook page.

The big news on Tuesday (May 10) is that Haymitch Abernathy will be played by Woody Harrelson and not John C. Reilly, as had been previously rumored.

Director Gary Ross said of the casting decision: "Haymich is such an unforgettable character: funny cranky outrageous, sarcastic, impatient, biting but ultimately kind. I'm so grateful we have Woody Harrelson to play him. I can't wait for us to get to work."

Fast Five"Fast Five" is a lot of things: it's fast, it's furious and it's… Oscar worthy?

Vin Diesel certainly seems to think so, at least. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the "Fast Five" star said he "wouldn't be surprised if there is some Oscar talk around" the latest "Furious" film. "Sooner or later, people are gonna say, 'Wait a minute, just because they are for the working class doesn't mean they're not great.'" That's Vin's take, but what do you think? Is "Fast Five" deserving of an Oscar, or is it just a straight-up crowd pleaser?

Consider us pumped up for Hugh Jackman training robots to box.

The second trailer for "Real Steel" has hit the web, and if the first trailer showed us just how action packed the movie will be, then this one proves to us that the flick will also have heart. And, honestly, when you have a movie centered on boxing robots, a little bit of heart is a very good thing.

Arnold SchwarzeneggerArnold Schwarzenegger has been making headlines lately for his Hollywood comeback, but today, it's for sadder reasons: the former Governor and his wife Maria Shriver have announced their separation after 25 years of marriage. An unfortunate situation to be sure, but leave it to the celebrities of Twitter-Wood to find jokes in the midst of tragedy.

Excepting Arnold and Maria's breakup, the focus amongst film stars and writers on Twitter is fairly scattered today. One comedian has a reminder about The Lonely Island's new album, while another reflects on how little the world has changed in light of Osama bin Laden's death.

I'm @roundhoward and this is Twitter-Wood for May 10, 2011.

The HobbitBrace yourself for a May Fact, as Sir Ian McKellen so aptly describes it: Martin Freeman has left "The Hobbit."

Okay, no need to panic — Freeman's gone for now, not for good. McKellen provided a lengthy "Hobbit" update on his blog today, explaining that the man behind Bilbo Baggins has left the set to resume work on a batch of "Sherlock Holmes" telemovies. Once he's finished with those projects, he'll return to Middle-Earth to finish out his crucial role on "The Hobbit."

If your stress levels aren't down yet, how about this nugget of goodness: Hugo Weaving is indeed returning to "The Hobbit" after all.

Chris HemsworthFROM MTV MOVIES: Chris Hemsworth is quite the "It" boy these days. The "Thor" star has officially been offered the role of the huntsman in "Snow White and the Huntsman," co-starring Kristen Stewart as the female lead, EW.com reports.

The huntsman role had once been attached to both Viggo Mortensen and Hugh Jackman, but it seems that after the $66 million opening week "Thor" enjoyed, Hemsworth has landed as a frontrunner. Reports that Hemsworth was being eyed for the part surfaced earlier this month. Now the Australian actor signing on for the project seems to be hinged on whether or not shooting for "The Avengers" will get in the way.

Based on the legendary fairy tale, "Snow White and the Hunstman" follows the titular princess after the evil queen Ravenna calls for her death, centering on the huntsman who disobeys orders and allows the fair maiden to live. The updated story will break from convention by having the huntsman mentor and train Snow White to fight off Ravenna herself. Directed by Rupert Sanders, "Snow White and the Huntsman" is scheduled for release on December 21, 2012.
