Arnold SchwarzeneggerFROM MTV MOVIES: As Arnold Schwarzenegger makes plans to resurrect his career in Hollywood after seven years in the California governor's mansion, the 63-year-old actor-turned-politician-turned-actor again made the startling revelation that he'd fathered a child with a member of his family's household staff.

In recent weeks, Schwarzenegger's name had cropped up in a number of potential projects, some more realistic than others, from the Brad Furman-directed drama "Cry Macho" and a fifth "Terminator" to a wild rumor about a sequel to the 1988 comedy "Twins." The question now is how, if at all, Arnie's revelation — following news that his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, was leaving him — will affect his plans to kick-start a movie career.

"This will, essentially, go away," said David Poland of Movie City News. "He'll be on 'Leno' next week to put this all behind him. Maybe two weeks — depends on how much the kid looks like him and how many weeks the tabloids run the photo on the front page. But eating this privately is not his way."

Zac EfronZac Efron doesn't have a hard time making the ladies swoon, but it seems that one of his upcoming projects will certify his status as a box office babe: "Die in a Gunfight," an action flick that shares common themes with Shakespeare's classic "Romeo and Juliet."

Last week, we spoke with "Gunfight" director Anthony Mandler, who very recently signed on to helm the project. He gave us the scoop on working with the former "High School Musical" sensation on this latest film and helping him bridge the difficult road from kid star to adult actor.

"I just signed on to a movie 'Die in a Gunfight' that Zac Efron's starring in," Mandler told MTV News. "It’s a 'Fight Club,' 'Romeo and Juliet'–esque, dystopian, another world [type of story] that's really exciting."

Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell started off as unlikely allies in "The Other Guys." But that shaky partnership has blossomed into something beautiful. Hilariously beautiful, but beautiful all the same.

Deadline reports that the two actors are joining forces for "Turkey Bowl," a new comedy about two guys from rival football-obsessed towns who lead their teams in an annual tackle football game for bragging rights. Lots of star-studded cameos are expected. Sounds perfect, if for no other reason than the news gives us an excuse to repost our Ferrell/Wahlberg "Knife Show" video.

Check out the rest of today's big casting news after the jump, including Michelle Williams' potential trip to "Oz" and the latest developments on "Akira."

Armie HammerHi-ho, silver! Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to meet your Lone Ranger — none other than "The Social Network" star Armie Hammer!

Hammer, who appeared in the Oscar-nominated picture as bitter Olympians and would-be entrepreneurs Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, is finalizing his deal to star opposite Johnny Depp in Disney's revamp of "The Lone Ranger," reports Variety. He'll don the fictional gunslinger's iconic black mask and cowboy hat when production on the Gore Verbinski-directed flick gets underway this fall.

The road towards "The Lone Ranger" has been a long and strange one. Word first broke out about this new adaptation of the classic character in late 2008, when it was announced that Depp would headline the film, but not as the masked rider; instead, he'd be playing Tonto, the Ranger's Native American sidekick.

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Calling "Twilight" a hot property would be like calling Justin Bieber "well-liked" by his fans — technically true, but a total understatement. Sure, for every Twihard, there's a naysayer putting the books and movies down. Still, the pool of contenders who were vying to direct the final two installments of the film franchise included some real Hollywood heavyweights, indicating more than a modicum of r-e-s-p-e-c-t from the film community. The Oscar-friendly candidates included Bill Condon, Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant.

Obviously, Bill won the honor, but Gus opened up about the selection process when we caught up with him at the Cannes Film Festival. So what's going through the mind of an Oscar-nominated director during an "audition" for a job?

"I got very nervous," Gus revealed. "There were like 15 people. I had never really auditioned or gone into a job interview in that way since maybe 1988 or '87. I guess I was unprepared for that. Usually people just hire me."

Kevin James got love advice from Will Smith in "Hitch," and that worked out pretty well for the guy. Let's see how he does when lions and gorillas are the ones playing matchmaker.

Yahoo Movies has premiered the full-length trailer for "Zookeeper," the former "King of Queens" comedian's latest movie. James stars as a zookeeper who contemplates leaving his job to pursue a more socially accepted path and, hopefully as a result, the girl of his dreams. But when the zoo's animals reveal that they can talk, they implore their favorite zookeeper to stay exactly where he is — and better still, they'll help him win his dream girl.

Check out the rest of today's news after the jump, including an early look at "Super 8" and Tim Burton's departure from "Maleficent."

For a generation of cinephiles Sam Neill may always be "Jurassic Park's" biggest skeptic: paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, the dino-expert who is not sure that the idea of a theme park featuring dinosaurs made from DNA extracted from prehistoric mosquitoes is such a good idea.

Neill famously played the character in both the first (and the best) and the last (and not as best) "Jurassic Park" movies, leaving nearly a decade since he got into dino-hunting mode... and if we're being honest, there's still a part of us hoping that someday we might hit up our local Cineplex to catch another film in the franchise with Neill in the lead role.

Well, we might feel that way, but it turns out Neill doesn't. MTV News spoke with the actor on Monday at the Fox Upfront presentation, where he and "Lost" alum Jorge Garcia were promoting their new J.J. Abrams show, "Alcatraz" -- and the occasional paleontologist was pretty quick to kill all our childhood hopes and dreams with all the ruthless efficiency of a velociraptor (which he does an excellent impression of in the video above at the 55 second mark).

It's a commonly known rule in horror movie lore that the killer always comes back for one last scare. In the case of the "Scream" series, the killer's come back for four scares now… but after a financially underwhelming debut for "Scream 4," has Ghostface put down the knife once and for all?

Don't bet on it, says Harvey Weinstein. The Weinstein Company chief, who has executive produced every edition of the "Scream" franchise to date, is quite confident that the genre-defying series has more life in it beyond "Scream 4."

"I'm sure [director Wes Craven is] going to do a sequel, I'm sure he's going to do a sequel," Weinstein insisted when we spoke with him at the Cannes Film Festival last week, stressing that while "Scream 4" didn't perform fantastically in the United States, it's doing quite well overseas.
