First thing's first: a disclaimer. We do not in any way endorse skipping school. That said, if you did decide to play hookie for a day, you could do worse than to follow Freddie Highmore's four easy steps.

Highmore stars in "The Art of Getting By" as something of a new age Ferris Bueller, a slacker who's gotten through school without putting in an ounce of serious energy. He's caught off guard when he attracts interest from the popular girl in his class, played by Emma Roberts, and decides to show her the four simple rules to ducking out on school… and it all comes down to noodles, as you'll see in this EXCLUSIVE clip.

Harry PotterIt all ends July 15, 2011, as the bad boys of "Harry Potter" are here to remind you.

We already saw Harry, Ron, Neville Longbottom and Hermione looking terrified but ready for the final installment of the "Harry Potter" saga, but now Warner Bros has released new character posters for Snape, Voldemort and Draco Malfoy as well. The trio of evil look cautious but battle-ready and, if we're being honest, downright sexy in their respective posters.

Snape, Draco and, of course, Voldemort all have integral parts to play in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," which is why we're glad to see that Warner Bros. followed up the previous four posters with these three characters. With a month and a half left until the release of the eighth and final "Potter" movie, we're interested to see what other characters will come next.

The big screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's popular novel "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has had its fair share of fits and starts, what with initial lead actress Natalie Portman and director Mike White signing on and then signing off recently.

Fans of the book-to-screen adaptation had their faith renewed with "Fright Night" and "Lars and the Real Girl" director Craig Gillespie stepping into White's vacated seat back in February, but we haven't heard much more about the project, until yesterday at MTV's Sneak Peek Week screening of "Fright Night," when, during the Q&A session that followed the viewing, Gillespie offered a few thoughts on his next project.

"It stays very true to the classic Pride and Prejudice," Gillespie said of Grahame-Smith's spin on Jane Austen's beloved classic. "And it's set in that period, then of course there's zombies."

MTV Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week kicked off last night (May 30) with a special first look at "Fright Night," the R-rated vampire thriller starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. But tonight, our week-long look at some of the summer's most anticipated movies takes its fangs out of the blood, guts and gore without shying away from matters of the heart.

Tonight's Sneak Peek Week installment is "The Art of Getting By," a new romantic dramedy starring Freddie Highmore ("August Rush"), Emma Roberts ("Scream 4") and Michael Angarano ("Red State"). The film centers on George (Highmore), a high school slacker who's made his way to senior year without a single ounce of academic effort. But George's loner lifestyle takes a hit when he finds himself befriending Sally (Roberts), an immensely popular student and an extremely unlikely ally.

We'll be chatting with Roberts, Angarano, co-star Elizabeth Reaser and director Gavin Wiesen about their work on the movie right here on MTV.com at 11 / 10PM central following the premiere of an exclusive clip on MTV, and we want your questions for the "Getting By" gang! Tweet them our way to @MTVNews using the hash tag #spw.

He played the King of Macedonia in "Alexander," the super villain Bullseye in "Daredevil" and now he's Jerry Dandrige, the vampire next door in the upcoming remake of the 1985 cult horror hit "Fright Night." Colin Farrell stars as the anti-Edward Cullen, a menacing vampire who moves in next door to suspicious teenager and eventual nemesis Charley Brewster, played by Anton Yelchin.

MTV News caught up with Christopher Mintz-Plasse (who plays Yelchin's best friend in the movie, 'Evil' Ed Thompson) and director Craig Gillespie last night in Los Angeles as part of MTV Sneak Peak Week, and the pair said that Farrell's natural talents as both a comedic and dramatic actor made him the perfect choice to play Jerry.

"It's a very dark character, but he has a humor about him," explained Gillespie. "He's very sinister. Just trying to get somebody that can play that, walk that line [like] he had in 'In Bruges,' which he's so funny in, and then he's played the very dramatic stuff, so I just felt like he could really walk that tightrope."

The HobbitFROM MTV MOVIES: There is finally some daylight at the end of the long, twisty journey to the screen of the two-film telling of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit." Over the holiday weekend, director Peter Jackson announced the names of the two movies he's filming based on Tolkien's preview novel to "The Lord of the Rings" and the release dates for the eagerly anticipated flicks.

The first part, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," is slated to open on December 14, 2012, while the second, titled "The Hobbit: There and Back Again," will open almost a year later, on December 13, 2013. After years of setbacks and false starts, Jackson finally began shooting the 3-D "Hobbit" movies in March in New Zealand with a cast headed by Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, as well as such returning "Lord of the Ring" stars as Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett, Sir Ian McKellen and Hugo Weaving.

It was announced on Friday that Bloom would be donning his golden wig again to play the role of the elf Legolas. "The Hobbit" is set 60 years before "The Lord of the Rings" and follows the journey of plucky hobbit Bilbo, who is drawn into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the vicious dragon Smaug.
