The KillingAMC's new series "The Killing" has been, for lack of a better word, killing it. The powerful murder mystery drama has made such an impression on the small screen since its debut earlier this month that its cast is already being sought after by Hollywood to showcase their talents on the big screen.

Take, for instance, Mireille Enos, who plays the lead character Sarah Linden on the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is currently in talks to star as none other than Brad Pitt's wife in the upcoming "World War Z." The movie, based on Max Brooks' novel of the same name, follows life in a post-zombie apocalyptic world.

Check out the rest of today's biggest casting news, including another "Killing" star -- Joel Kinnaman -- making the transition to film for the thriller "Safe House."

Never let it be said that movies can't make a difference. Sure, the world of cinema is typically viewed as escapism at its finest—but you can never undervalue the need for that kind of pleasure, especially when the real world surrounding you is filled with horror and uncertainty at every turn.

That's the thought line at the core of "Sun City Picture House," a documentary co-executive produced by Olivia Wilde and Maria Bello about finding something to look forward to in the midst of adversity. "Sun City" follows the story of Raphael Louigene, a Haitian man who sets out to build the first movie theater since the devastating earthquake of January 2010, a mission he's able to accomplish even in the face of a tropical storm thanks to community unity and a greater love for film.

Watch an exclusive clip from "Sun City Picture House" in the video above, and check out an image from the film below.

How many times have you caught yourself wishing that you could literally trade lives — bodies, even — with a close friend, someone who seems to have everything you could ever possibly imagine yourself wanting? Well, try and reduce that number to zero, if you can.

In "The Change-Up," Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds make the fateful mistake of wishing that they could spend a day in the other man's shoes. But these best pals bite off much more than they can chew when a freak twist of fate has them swapping bodies and, consequently, lives. The red-band trailer gave us some big and nasty clues about what to expect from the hard-R comedy when it hits this summer, and our exclusive photo below — part of MTV's Summer Movie Preview week — puts its finger on that notion's nose, so to speak. Take a look.

Daniel Radcliffe is, and always will be, Harry Potter to any fan of the book or film series. After all, the "Potter" star, currently appearing on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," landed the role at age 11 and has held it for literally half of his life.

Now, Radcliffe is in the midst of a major transition from the "Potter" franchise to different things, like "How to Succeed" and the forthcoming "Woman in Black." One can only imagine that his constant connection to "Potter" can get frustrating for the actor at this stage of the game. But hearing it from Radcliffe himself, he's not too concerned about his continued reputation as the boy who lived.

"I can't have that attitude towards it," Radcliffe told MTV News. "It's been the making of me."

But that doesn't mean that it doesn't get on his nerves sometimes.

Cast shotWith this Friday’s release of "Fast Five" barreling towards us, MTV Movies Blog is taking the time to look in the rearview at the four films that paved the way. First up, the movie that started it all.

There have been a host of car racing movies that came before "The Fast and the Furious," but its debut in 2001 saw the rise of the sub-genre’s biggest and most popular franchise ever. Described as “gritty and gratifying” by Variety, the Rob Cohen-directed film cemented the popularity of Vin Diesel after his role in "Pitch Black" the previous year and used an ensemble cast composed of young Hollywood’s biggest stars of the time. Although American car racing movies had long relied on the horsepower of homegrown ‘muscle’ cars, “The Fast and the Furious” super-charged its debut by relying primarily on vehicles from the Asian import scene that had become staples of car culture since the mid-80s but had never been depicted in a mainstream U.S. film before.

In “The Fast and the Furious,” Domenic Toretto (Diesel) is heading up a street gang that the authorities believe is responsible for a string of high-speed truck hijackings. After putting undercover cop Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) into the mix to land on Toretto’s crew, he comes to know Toretto’s real story while falling for his younger sister, Mia (Jordana Brewster). Although he eventually breaks his cover, O’Connor comes to the rescue of the Torettos when they're fingered for the crimes of a more reprehensible street gang and their activities.

Bill and TedIt's Monday, which means the internet is basking in the glow of yesterday's brand new episode of "Game of Thrones." If you went anywhere near a computer in the past 24 hours, you'd know that everybody had something to say about the HBO epic, but we found some celebrity commentary that was a wee-bit outside of the mainstream perspective.

Meanwhile, "Water For Elephants" opened in a strong third place at this weekend's box office, but has garnered mixed reviews. While Hollywood's fickle critics are split, the celebrity consensus is overwhelmingly positive, at least with a sample size of two.

And you know how we told you that a "Bill and Ted 3" script was just weeks away from completion? Turns out that it's already done, and it's in co-star Alex Winter's hands. Station!

I'm @TravisHelwig and this is Twitter-Wood for April 25, 2011.

It wouldn't be a Summer Movie Preview week without a few too many shots and an unforgettably forgettable night in Bangkok, right? That's why we're continuing our all-week look at the summer season's hottest movies today with an exclusive photo from "The Hangover Part II," director Todd Phillips' follow-up to his 2009 breakout hit. It's a rare look at all four members of the wolf pack — Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha — with mere moments to go before their drunken misadventures through the streets of Thailand commence.

In addition to the photo, MTV News sat down with Phillips to talk about the "Hangover" sequel, and he explained why he thinks round two is going to work just as well (if not better than) the original film.

John C. ReillyWith the mystery of who will play "The Hunger Games" heroine Katniss Everdeen long over, the question of who will star as the important supporting characters still looms.

As Elizabeth Banks closes in on the over-the-top Effie Trinket, Hollywood Crush reports that Oscar-nominee John C. Reilly is in contention for the part of the boozy, but vital, "Hunger Games" ex-champ and mentor Haymitch Abernathy. Reilly, an inspired and more than well-suited choice for the role, would beat out the likes of other rumored Haymitch contenders such as Hugh Laurie.

Check out the rest of Monday's biggest casting news after the jump, including Sam Raimi's push to have Hilary Swank head to "Oz"!
