While we're very much excited for next week's DVD and Blu-ray release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," we're already dying for the "Part 2" DVD. Yes, we know that it has to hit theaters first, but based on our chat with Helen McCrory (a.k.a Narcissa Malfoy), we're guessing it's going to be chock full of mind-blowing extras!
When MTV News caught up with Helen at the "Harry Potter" exhibit opening in New York City this week, she shared some very interesting news with us: they filmed four different endings for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2"! Well, the Malfoy clan did, anyway.
"With Narcissa, I actually filmed four different endings and I filmed three different battles," Helen revealed. "I don't know which ones the three Davids [including director David Yates] are going to pick."
McCrory added that she hasn't seen the final cut of the film just yet, so hopefully those sequences (and endings) that don't make "Part 2" will make it onto DVD and Blu-ray!
In an attempt to explain herself further, McCrory began: "Because in the book the chapters are..." But she was quickly interrupted by throngs of screaming HP fans, a rightfully vocal bunch! "Can you hear those hormones at home?" she joked at the camera.
Luckily for those excited "Potter" fans, there's still one more movie (and its bevy of endings and battles) to go and the cast hasn't said their final goodbyes just yet. As Helen — whose first post-"HP" vehicle is Martin Scorcese's all-star project "Hugo Cabret" — told us: "We haven't had a full stop on it as a cast and as a company. So it doesn't feel like the end yet."
Are you going to buy both of the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" DVDs or Blu-rays when they come out? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
