Very sad news to start your Wednesday morning: Elizabeth Taylor, one of the most iconic and established actresses of Hollywood's golden age, has passed away. She was 79.

Christian BaleFrom its world premiere at the AFI Fest in November to the theatrical release in December to the awards-show circuit that wrapped up with the Oscars late last month, director David O. Russell has spent the last six months talking nonstop about "The Fighter."

And just when he thought he was done, the boxing drama's DVD and Blu-ray arrived this month. Once more back into the fray!

But here's the thing: he doesn't mind at all. While Russell would admit to a bit of "Fighter" fatigue during a recent MTV News interview, he said he continues to welcome the chance to chat about the movie. "Sure, there's some of that," he said about PR overkill. "At the same time, I love this movie so much and it was such a special experience."

It's no surprise, then, that he still has an urge to sit back and check out Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and the rest of the "Fighter" cast do their stuff on screen. "I wanted to watch it yesterday. I was listening to some of the music in my car," he laughed. "I like watching the first 15 minutes of it. I just think they're really good."

Now, with the DVD and Blu-ray on shelves, you not only have the chance to watch the Oscar-winning flick again, but you can also check out a never-before-seen deleted clip that MTV News has exclusively obtained. Watch it past the jump!

The deleted scene takes place fairly early in the film as Micky Ward (Wahlberg) waits at the boxing gym ready to work out. An HBO documentary crew is in place but his brother and trainer, Dicky Eklund, is nowhere to be found. Dicky, it turns out, has been up all night on a drug-bender. When he realizes he's late for training, he takes off running. The new clip shows some of Dicky's wacky encounters on his way to the gym. He stops in front of a neighbor's door for a smoke break and confronts a few kids who call him a loser.

"Look at me!" he tells the kids with that familiar jokey yet menacing manner. "You better watch it or I'll set my sisters on you. You don't want that."

Tell us what you think of the clip in the comments section and on Twitter!

Georgia ShoreSome celebrities are so recognizable, so iconic, they only require one name: Oprah. Bono. Madonna. Prince. Cher. Beck. Beyonce. It was only a matter of time before two of today's biggest singularly-named phenomenons joined forces to become one unstoppable force: Madea and Snooki.

MTV has exclusively snagged the new poster for Tyler Perry's latest venture, "Madea's Big Happy Family" which features the actor/writer/director/producer dressed as Georgia Shore, a character that's an obvious nod to "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

Check out the full poster past the jump!

Total RecallColin Farrell isn't exactly a dead-ringer for Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he'll do his best when he slips into the ex-Governator's shoes for Len Wiseman's developing "Total Recall" remake. And he won't be the only actor following in the footsteps of a sci-fi icon.

Deadline reports that the search is on for the two leading lady roles in "Total Recall." One is Lori, the beautiful wife turned psychotic traitor played famously by Sharon Stone in the 1990 original. The other is Melina, our hero's cohort in attempting to thwart the great Martian conspiracy, played by Rachel Ticotin.

Several notable and lesser known actors are lining up for these characters. Find out who they are past the jump!

Deathly HallowsAs if you needed more reasons to get excited for the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" DVD and Blu-ray release on April 15, the "Maximum Movie Mode" feature should be enough to set you over the edge.

EW got an exclusive look at the newest special feature in the Blu-ray combo back, which is an interactive feature placed throughout the film that offers throwbacks to important moments from the previous movies and offer insight into the series as a whole.

This first video has Jason Isaacs explaining the role of Dementors throughout the franchise in terms of their look and functionality. In case you need a quick refresher, Dementors are "dark creatures of fear and sadness." But since we're pretty up-to-date on our Dementor history, here are some other aspects of the films we'd like a closer look at.

ShatnerA very happy birthday goes out to one of our personal favorites, William Shatner, who turns 80 years old today.

When he's not fouling up our television sets with "$#*! My Dad Says," Shatner has been hard at work creating some of the most iconic and nerdy characters in our pop culture history. From "Star Trek" to "Boston Legal" to "Miss Congeniality," the actor not only created a new pattern... of speech, but also wormed his way into our hearts and public consciousness as a man that we just love to love.

So here's a throwback, "old friend," to some of our favorite roles played by Shatner over his 60-year-long career.

Ricky Gervais and Will ArnettDunder Mifflin's Scranton branch is about to lose its fearless leader, and the men who would replace Michael Scott are lining up in droves.

Steve Carell's departure from "The Office" is just a few weeks away, and while we wait to see if he's replaced by a pre-existing colleague or a newcomer, we can at least add a couple of new names to the speculation pile: according to Entertainment Weekly, original "Office" star Ricky Gervais and "Arrested Development" favorite Will Arnett are coming to Scranton.

Gervais and Arnett are slated to appear in the one-hour season finale this May, arriving a few weeks after Carell makes his exit. There's no word on whether or not Gervais and Arnett might cross over with the previously announced Will Ferrell, but a blogger can certainly dream.
