The film family that plays together, stays together.
Or at least that's the case with the "Harry Potter" crew. If reviews are to be believed, Daniel Radcliffe is killing it on Broadway in his new musical "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying," and he said that many of his "Potter" costars -- from Emma Watson to Rupert Grint to Bonnie Wright -- are coming over to show their support. In fact, one of his onscreen mentors already has.
"Alan Rickman came first preview, which was very, very cool," Radcliffe said. "Alan's a huge supporter, so yeah, yeah, yeah, he's been great."
He also has Gary Oldman's unconditional support, but we couldn't help but notice that the majority of the actors and actresses who are showering him with praise also happen to be famous stage performers in their own right. Even if Radcliffe never teams up with his fellow "Potter" stars on the big screen again, we sure hope our wish-list of their potential stage performances together actual comes true.

Consider yourself warned: "Justice" could be headed to theaters near you in 2013.
In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov dropped two major bombshells for DC Comics fans: a new reboot of Batman is in the works, and a "Justice League" movie should (finally) be hitting theaters in 2013. According to him, the new Batman flick would come after "The Dark Knight Rises" hits theaters, and the "Justice League" film is a way to fill the void left when "Harry Potter" ends this summer.
We've got plenty more news for you today, including who's going to play Robert Pattinson's wife in "Cosmopolis," what "I Am Number Four" star might join "Warm Bodies," and all the details about J.J. Abrams' new book project.

NYU students: let the advisor-bribing games begin… Professor James Franco is in the house!
Next year, 12 lucky Tisch School of the Arts enrollees will be wizened up by Professor F’s smarts regarding the ways of adapting poetry into short films. Perhaps he’ll center a lesson on selected readings from his… recently-authored book of short stories? Only time (and the feedback of those dozen lucky attendees) will tell, but one thing’s for certain: we’re inspired!
We're so inspired, in fact, that we penned a few Franco film-related poems for your reading pleasure. Our iambic pentameter may be a little off, but our Francophilia’s in full effect!

Reports of Jackie Chan's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Despite the fact that "RIP Jackie Chan" has been a trending topic on Twitter all day, the coast is thankfully clear for one of our favorite martial arts action stars of all time.
"He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports," reports Chan's official Twitter feed. "Jackie is fine and is busy preparing for the filming of his next movie."
With that bit of business out of the way, it's time to see what else is going on in Twitter-Wood. After the jump, Steve Martin's quest against the Bronx Zoo Cobra continues while Jon Favreau offers a tantalizing tease at his WonderCon plans!

"Harry Potter" is filmed and wrapped, but Daniel Radcliffe's work with the franchise is not done yet.
Though the man behind the glasses and lightning bolt scar is done playing Harry Potter, he still has the "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" press rounds to look forward to in July. But considering that he's already switched gears and moved on to his Broadway show, "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying," we figured it might be a bit difficult for Radcliffe to return back to the world of "Harry Potter" after he has been so far removed from it.
MTV caught up with the young star at the Broadway premiere of "How To Succeed," and his response to the coming press tour was different than we might have expected.

The term "The Next..." gets thrown around a lot in Hollywood, particularly when it comes to Johnny Depp. From Orlando Bloom to Robert Pattinson, the industry has long been hoping they've found this generation's Depp (though we think the original is still pretty damn great.)
So when Deadline.com reported that actor Thomas McDonell was cast as a young Depp in Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows," it was inevitable that comparisons would be drawn. After all, he's a hot up-and-comer with Disney's "Prom" on the way, and he just so happens to look exactly like a young Johnny Depp.
But will McDonell, who plays the early version of Barnabas Collins in the film, be able to hold the momentum? After the jump check out five ways McDonell can, in fact, become the next Johnny Depp.

Meet James Kirk, the fearless Starfleet captain whose wits are matched only by his willingness to throw himself into danger. Meet Jack Ryan, the razor-sharp analyst who will one day become the President of the United States.
Chances are good that you've already met both of these men, but only one of them is coming soon to a theater near you — for now, at least.
Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures is putting its planned Jack Ryan reboot on the backburner for now while they focus on "Star Trek 2," which could start production as soon as this fall. Leading man Chris Pine is the actor tasked with playing both Kirk and Ryan, but it looks like we'll be seeing him in his familiar Starfleet uniform before he dons Ryan's suit-and-tie.

Preparing for an interview with Russell Brand is basically a fruitless endeavor, in that he will take whatever question you manage to ask, half answer it and then digress into sordid and/or hilarious territory. Such was the case when I chatted with him at the "Arthur" press day over the weekend, where a discussion about a 35-year-old billionaire with a nanny lent itself toward the ridiculous.
Eventually, we got around to discussing the movie adaptation of Neil Strauss' Motley Crue bio, "The Dirt," and the fact that Strauss recently told me that the film's screenwriter Rich Wilkes wants Brand to play Tommy Lee.
Before I even got to my actual question as to whether he'd be interested in the movie, Brand pronounced the man he'd like to play: "Nikki Sixx!"

The boys are back in town, but this is a very different town indeed.
Over the past few weeks, we've seen the first official photos and the first teaser trailer for "The Hangover: Part II," the highly anticipated sequel to Todd Phillips' 2009 punch-drunk laugh-fest. Now comes a brand new poster that proves just how low our hungover trio of friends are about to sink.

Jennifer Garner is ready to start solving mysteries again, this time Agatha Christie style.
The former "Alias" star has been tapped by Disney to star as Miss Marple in their planned reboot of the mystery series, Deadline reports. Disney's plan for the reboot was to change the character of Miss Marple from being an elderly English spinster who solves mysteries as a hobby to an updated version where she is in her 30s or 40s.
After the jump, we break down just who Miss Marple is, how she's been portrayed before and why Garner is an interesting choice.
