[Editor's Note: As much as we love "Blood and Ice Cream" as a title, Edgar Wright reached out to us to offer a quick correction: "FYI - the actual trilogy title (unofficial or otherwise) is Three Flavours Cornetto. Fact! 'Blood and Ice Cream' is an Internet reduction that stuck. It's our tribute to [Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski of 'Three Colors'] through ice cream." Still sounds bloody delicious to us, Edgar!]

Don't take this the wrong way: we loved "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," we loved "Paul," but what we really hunger for is some more "Blood and Ice Cream."

No, we're not a pack of mad zombies who got our blood-hungry gums on some herbally-laced brains. We're talking, of course, about "The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy," a series of movies directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the two lead roles. The first two films in the series — "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" — are more than deserving of their cult classic status, but success isn't without its drawbacks. In this case, the awesomeness of "Shaun" and "Fuzz" simply makes us desperate for news on the reportedly titled "The World's End," the third and as-yet unfilmed installment in the trilogy.

But we won't be hungry for long, according to Pegg, who told MTV News that we could see the elusive "Blood and Ice Cream" conclusion as soon as 2012.

Harry PotterLike a fine wine, the "Harry Potter" movies only get richer with age. It's no surprise, then, that "Deathly Hallows" is poised to become the richest of them all.

On Wednesday, Warner Bros. announced that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" has passed "Sorcerer's Stone" to become the top-grossing "Potter" film on an international level. The first half of the "Harry Potter" finale has earned $657.24 million in foreign markets, just barely edging out the "Sorcerer's Stone" total of $657 million.

“It’s tremendously gratifying to reach this benchmark as we enter the final stretch of this remarkable journey,” said Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, in an official statement. “We share this achievement with Jo Rowling, whose books are the foundation of this rich and vibrant world, as well as the talented people who brought her vision to life on the screen.”

Sympathy for DeliciousMark Ruffalo is best known for his leading and supporting roles in dramatic pictures like "Shutter Island" and "The Kids Are All Right," but his career could be in for a change of course.

We're not talking about his turn as Bruce Banner in "The Avengers," either, though that superhero blockbuster will undoubtedly launch Ruffalo's name into a different stratosphere. Instead, it's Ruffalo's upcoming directorial debut, "Sympathy for Delicious," that has our eyebrows raised and our curiosity piqued.

Check out some details about "Sympathy for Delicious," as well as the exclusive premiere of the film's poster, after the jump.

Wagner MouraThe world is finally taking shape, but it'll still take some time before we get to visit "Elysium."

"District 9" director Neill Blomkamp's latest science fiction endeavor has snagged a new lead actor and an official release date: Brazilian actor Wagner Moura is joining the cast, according to Latino Review, while The Hollywood Reporter informs us that "Elysium" is arriving in theaters on March 8, 2013.

Moura isn't exactly a household name for American audiences, but the actor has quite the following in Brazil (and amongst foreign film enthusiasts) for his work in the "Elite Squad" series as special ops commander Roberto Nascimento.

Last night, I checked out an early screening of "Source Code," and while I can't tell you much, I can say the sci-fi flick is a very worthy successor to director Duncan Jones' 2009 cliche-defying debut, "Moon." Honestly, though, like "Moon," it's best to go into "Source Code" knowing only the framework.

If you don't already know, the concept is that Jake Gyllenhaal is a solider sent back, via an uber-complicated computer program, to relive the last eight minutes of a stranger's life on a commuter train in a quest to suss out the identity of the terrorist who bombed the train and plans on wreaking much worse havoc soon. Got it? Good!

Ahead of the film's April 1st release date, we're bringing you not one but two new exclusive clips to further entice your cinematic palate yet keep you guessing about "Source Code." In the first clip, Gyllenhaal pauses in his bomb-sniffing duties long enough to get a little sugar from fellow train passenger Michelle Monaghan. Who says there's no time for a little romance when you're on a train loaded with explosives and you've shuttled back in time to save the day?

Just like Sirius Black to Harry Potter, Gary Oldman looks on his "Harry Potter" castmate Daniel Radcliffe with a feeling of pride.

When MTV caught up with the actor at the press junket for "Red Riding Hood," it only took one brief question about the "Harry Potter" franchise to get him talking about the impressive acting chops that Radcliffe and the rest of the stars of the soon-ending film franchise have developed over the years.

"He's adorable," Oldman said of Radcliffe. "I love him."

It's not just the fact that Radcliffe was chosen at age 11 to be the title character of one of the largest film franchises in history, or that he did it with flying colors over the next 10 years, or the fact that Radcliffe managed to avoid major problems during puberty and his teenage years like drug addiction or something worse. It is Radcliffe's dedication to his craft that really impressed Oldman.

As Simon Pegg makes clear toward the end of this giggle-inducing video that "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" director Brad Bird made for the Annie Awards, the British comedian knows how to handle a weapon. And as Pegg revealed to MTV News recently, his tech-nerd character from "M:I 3," Benji Dunn, might be joining the action far more in "Ghost Protocol" than he did in the previous flick.

"Let's just say Benji Dunn has had a little bit of a promotion since the last film," Pegg told us while promoting his upcoming sci-fi comedy, "Paul."

In 2006's "M:I 3," Dunn was an IMF technician, more comfortable donning a lab coat and delivering some comic relief than unleashing fury with an automatic weapon. While we can't imagine Dunn will morph into a straight man in the new flick, we have a feeling he'll be stepping away from the computer and into the fray this time around. We can't say for sure, though, since Pegg declined to dish plot details, lest co-star Tom Cruise shoot him "with a dart gun in the neck," as the British comedian joked.

Guillermo del ToroIn light of yesterday's sad news that Guillermo del Toro's plan to adapt "At The Mountains Of Madness" isn't going to happen, it's certainly relieving to hear that he's planning to head back behind the camera with "Pacific Rim" as soon as possible.

Deadline has confirmation that "Pacific Rim" will indeed be del Toro's next film, and even managed to snag a lengthy interview with him. In true del Toro fashion, it's full of fantastically colorful and insightful quotes.

"I can only say I was very happy to be able to develop it under the radar in many ways," del Toro said about "Pacific Rim." "People got it confused with the 'Godzilla' movie a few months ago but we cleared that up. I can say the scope and imagination that have been outlined in it are absolutely appealing to me. I cannot say more, it’s not the time."

Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough are both tapped to star in the upcoming "Rock Of Ages" flick and it seems that if Russell Brand can work out the final kinks of his negotiations, he too might be joining the star-studded cast to play Lonnie in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway smash.

So, what's the hold up?

"I think they're talking about it," he told MTV News at the Cosmopolitan magazine's 2011 Fun Fearless Males party. "I think they're trying to work out what I like to call 'scheduling,' " he joked, alluding to the fact that his salary was still being discussed.
