Get ready to be Smurfed.
The first theatrical trailer for "The Smurfs" hit the web today, and in our opinion it shows just the right balance of Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays with our little blue friends. While the previous teaser left us wanting much, much more, this one gave us a good sense of where the movie's heading.
In short, there are Smurfs. They get sent to New York City. Havoc and hilarity ensues. Check out our favorite moments from the trailer after the jump!

It was as though Justin Bartha read our minds.
The actor, along with his fellow "The Hangover: Part II" cast mates, sat down with Empire Magazine (via Indie Wire) to discuss the upcoming sequel, acknowledging those who are skeptical about a sequel to the hard R-rated comedy.
"Well your first instinct is to think ‘Sequel—sh---y version of the first film out to make money,'" Bartha said, adding: "As soon as that thought entered my head, I remembered: this is a movie written and directed by Todd Phillips with the cast and crew of ‘The Hangover.’"
In addition to talking about the sequel, the Empire article reveals two new images from the film. Check them out past the jump!

The magic of Harry Potter: The Exhibition lives on, or at least for a few more months.
Warner Bros. announced yesterday that their "Potter" museum exhibition, which traveled from Chicago to Boston to Seattle, would be having a fourth and final stop in New York City at Discovery Times Square Marquee before continuing its journey outside the United States. The exhibition will open on April 5 and run for five months.
Increasing the excitement is the fact that the New York exhibition will add new props from both parts of "Deathly Hallows" to the show's already vast collection. Perhaps we should expect some horcruxes on display?

If Mars plans to take our moms, they'll want to start gathering a whole bunch of other Earthly staples as well.
We understand that in the context of the animated flick "Mars Needs Moms" that Mars, well, needs moms, but if they want to keep those maternal forces happy and motherly, they're going to need to surround the imported parents with some things that aren't solely Martian.
To help the Martians in their planning, we've come up with a list of Earthly locations that might help keep Mars' new moms occupied. After all, mothers can be particular sometimes -- just don't tell my mom I said that!
"Super 8" fans, we weren't kidding when we told you big things were on the way!
After several months of waiting in the dark with only a few brief glimpses at the bigger picture, Paramount Pictures has finally unveiled the first full-length trailer for "Super 8," director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg's mysterious summer throwback movie.
What was already one of the most secretive projects of the entire summer movie season is finally becoming a little bit clearer -- though, thankfully, not too clear -- as we finally have our first good look at what Abrams has in store for us when the Amblin homage arrives in theater this June.

Winter is coming, dear readers, and Sean Bean is inviting you in from the cold.
The first official poster for HBO's "Game of Thrones" hit the web today, giving us just one more reason to tune into the April-launching series. But really, with Sean Bean starring in a fantasy novel adaptation and an Iron Throne front and center, what more convincing do you need?
The poster's tagline -- "You win or you die" -- is a variation on one of the main lines in the series, underlying the idea of the titular game of thrones. If you need some historical context for the action drama, author George R.R. Martin launched the series by drawing inspiration from England's War of the Roses, when the major houses of Britain rose up against each other to try to win the throne of England. The stage is similarly set in the upcoming HBO fantasy series.

Of all the well-known, beloved American traditional events, someone in Hollywood decided it was high time to make a movie about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Producers Scott Glassgold and Raymond Brothers have acquired the rights to make a feature film based on the iconic New York City parade, explaining to The Hollywood Reporter: “We’re aiming to make a four-quadrant, family-friendly film somewhere in that 'Night At The Museum,' 'Elf' sweet spot."
With everything from the Magic 8 ball to View-Finder to New Year's Eve getting the big screen treatment, it almost -- almost -- seems natural that this classic New York spectacle gets the big screen treatment. But how does one cook up a plot line centered on the Thanksgiving parade? Luckily, we've got a few suggestions after the jump!
