Between Jodie Foster, Jennifer Lawrence and Anton Yelchin, there's more than a few reasons to keep an eye out on "The Beaver." But there's perhaps no bigger reason to tune in than its leading man, Mel Gibson.
In what can be seen as an eerie instance of art imitating life, Gibson stars in the Foster-directed drama as Walter Black, the CEO of a toy company who embarks on a downward spiral of depression, completely isolating himself from the people he loves in the process. But possible redemption presents itself in an unusual form: Walter comes into contact with a beaver hand-puppet that he uses to communicate on his behalf, a decision that could either widen the distance between himself and his family or bring all of them closer together.
It's no secret that Gibson has been making headlines for the wrong reasons in recent weeks, months and years, but could "The Beaver" turn the tides for the troubled actor? Hard to say without seeing footage from the film, but thankfully, we've got three new clips from the movie that give you a great idea of what "The Beaver" has in store for you. Let us know what you think of the footage in the comments section and on Twitter!

In addition to the anticipation for "How To Train Your Dragon 2," which star Jay Baruchel called a "Chapter 2," not a straight sequel, another one of the actor's buzzworthy projects is his upcoming bloody hockey comedy "Goon."
MTV News recently caught up with Baruchel at the PaleyFest reunion for his TV show, "Undeclared," wherein we asked him for an update on his pet project.
"I saw a rough cut of it last week and it's phenomenal," Baruchel said. "It's easily the best hockey that's ever been captured on film, it has the most legit fighting that I've seen in movies in a decade, it's damn funny and my fiancee [Alison Pill] is beautiful and amazing in it so yeah, life is great!"

Netflix has already revolutionized the way we rent movies (Not leaving the couch to stay on the couch even longer? Genius!) so it was only a matter of time before they figured out a way to alter the way we watch television, too.
According to Deadline, Netflix managed to outbid cable giants HBO and AMC for Media Rights Capital's "House of Cards," an upcoming drama series directed by David Fincher, who will also co-executive produce the show with Kevin Spacey.
Netflix reportedly struck a massive deal that includes two full seasons -- 26 episodes total -- right from the get-go. That's twenty more than AMC was given to launch the amazingly gory Golden-Globe nominated zombie drama "The Walking Dead." In other words, it's quite the gamble.

Mark Wahlberg failed to land an Oscar nomination for his work in "The Fighter," but perhaps he'll have another shot at the title when he returns as Micky Ward.
The previously nominated actor has made no secret about his hopes to bring "The Fighter" gang back together for a sequel, and now he's discussed his plans at length with Entertainment Weekly. But don't expect "The Fighter" to become the next "Rocky" franchise, as Wahlberg insists he's only interested in going for one more round in the ring.
"I’m trying to plant the idea in everyone’s head that we should do — not five or six Fighters like Rocky — but one more because the big thing that Micky Ward was famous for was his three epic battles with Arturo Gatti," he explained. "So we’re talking about possibly taking one more run at it."

It was the year that "Slumdog Millionaire" founds its way into the hearts of Oscar voters and was named Best Picture. It was also the year that the late Heath Ledger was honored, and deservedly so, with a pothumous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his chilling work in "The Dark Knight," and the year Kate Winslet finally got to take the podium to make an acceptance speech.
But for Twi-hards the world over, the 2009 Oscars marked one thing and one thing alone: Robert Pattison attended the 81st Annual Academy Awards.

Though its plot remains almost entirely shrouded in secrecy, "Stoker" is nevertheless one of our most anticipated projects by quite a lot. It comes from "Oldboy" director Park Chan-wook in his English-language feature film debut, written by "Prison Break" actor Wentworth Miller and starring "Alice in Wonderland" rising star Mia Wasikowska and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. Even without knowing the plot, how can you argue with that lineup of talent?
It gets even better: Colin Firth, fresh off of his Oscar victory for "The King's Speech," is reportedly joining the cast as well. Rumors swirled regarding his involvement earlier this month, and now THR reports that Firth is finalizing his deal.
But there were other rumors about "Stoker" that are simply untrue, like the fact that it centers on vampires. Park's film company Moho Film denied reports that "Stoker" is a vampire film to THR, and when we recently caught up with "Stoker" lead Wasikowska, she also verified that the fangs are not out for her latest picture.

Ghost Face is at it again, and some new photos released from "Scream 4" show us that things are going to be as bloody as ever.
The "Scream 4" official Facebook page uploaded some new photos from the upcoming sequel, and needless to say there are a lot of knives, shocked faces and ghost masks floating around in them. The movie, which hits theaters on April 15, is set 10 years after the previous three "Scream" films, and that means 10 years worth of increasingly inventive kills from our dear Ghost Face.
At least one of those kills is shown rather graphically in these photos, so if your stomach can't take it or if you want to keep yourself spoiler-free for the flick, we suggest you skip. But for those of you as curious as we are, click on the photo above to see all of the new "Scream" photos, and head past the jump for our analysis!

If you already thought "Sucker Punch" looked cartoonish, you haven't seen anything yet.
The flood of "Sucker Punch" content continues to pour in as the hype continues to build towards next week's release of Zack Snyder's latest eye-popping action flick. In addition to yesterday's slew of new photos featuring the lovely Vanessa Hudgens and other cast members, a new "Sucker Punch" animated short has hit the web (via Screen Rant) offering fans with a very different perspective on Baby Doll's struggle.

Not unlike Jake Gyllenhaal in "Source Code," you can relive the first five minutes of Duncan Jones' new film over and over again.
Yahoo Movies got the first look at "Source Code," the trippy sci-fi thriller that forces leading man Gyllenhaal to relive the last eight minutes of another man's life to try to stop a threat that will kill millions of people in downtown Chicago. Needless to say, these first minutes of the movie end with a bang.
There's more news out there today beyond "Source Code." After the jump, find out what the hold up is on "Ghostbusters III," which cast members are returning for "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" and what the Westboro Baptist Church thought of "Red State."

"When you play the game of thrones, you either win or you die."
So says Queen Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady) in the latest and by far the best trailer for HBO's upcoming "Game of Thrones," and truer words have never been spoken. If all of the previous videos promoting the series have been teasing just how great the adaptation of the first "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel is going to be as a television series, then this one finally, finally gives it all away.
The Wall. The Red Keep. Varys. The White Walkers. Old Nan. Syrio teaching Arya Stark her "needlework." It's all here after the jump.
