How To Train Your DragonWe've long known that "How to Train Your Dragon" sequels and a follow-up television series are coming our way, though the exact nature of the continuing story of Hiccup and his Viking clan have remained more or less under wraps.

But in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Dragon" co-director Dean DeBlois and returning producer Bonnie Arnold have started spilling the beans on the planned sequel. DeBlois, who is currently working on a draft of the sequel's screenplay, reveals that "How to Train Your Dragon 2" would function as at least the second part of a trilogy, if not a longer series of stories.

"I turned in the script before the holidays, and got some notes back and I'm working on a second draft," said DeBlois. "It's going to be quite epic. We are treating 'How To Train Your Dragon' as the first act in a much larger story."

DraculaFinally, a new Dracula film for vampire fans to sink their teeth into. With sexy, angsty teen vampires infiltrating our pop culture, it seems like it's been a while since there's been some hardcore stake and holy water style vamp films released.

Well, no longer. According to Deadline, Leonardo DiCaprio's production company Appian Way will produce an upcoming adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel called "Harker" for Warner Bros.

Unlike previous incarnations of the book, "Harker" will focus on Scotland Yard detective Jonathan Harker who is tracking Dracula. The script sets him up as a potential new franchise character. And no, before you ask, DiCaprio is not planning to star in the film.

Mel GibsonOh, "The Beaver." It would already be one of the most intriguing films on our to-watch list without all of the controversy surrounding leading man Mel Gibson.

But, of course, that elevates things: this is a story about a depressed man who has to rediscover and redeem himself through an imaginary friend, a beaver puppet that does all of the talking for him. It's certainly an interesting and timely premise given what Gibson has been going through lately, though it makes one pause: is the film doomed for failure before it even launches? Are audiences ready to forgive Mel, particularly through this unintentionally timely lens?

They'll have some more time to decide, as the release date for "The Beaver" has been pushed back once again. Originally slated for release in 2010, and then again on March 28 of this year, The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop that "The Beaver" will now open on May 6 in limited release before expanding later in the month – in the thick of the summer season, in other words.

Over the years, Optimus Prime has taken many forms: big rig truck, techno-organic ape… the list goes on. But in the "Transformers" movies from Michael Bay, Optimus has relied on his familiar truck mode when transforming into vehicle form – though it appears that this is changing, at least partially, for "Dark of the Moon," the third installment in Bay's series.

In the 30-second spot that aired during the Super Bowl, "Transformers" fans may have noticed a moment where the Autobots' esteemed leader swoops down into battle with what looks like wings or a jet pack strapped to his back. What's the deal with that? My first thought was that this was a residual effect of Prime's merging with Jetfire in the final act of "Revenge of the Fallen," but the eagle-eyed folks at io9 have unearthed a different explanation altogether.

Kevin SmithKevin Smith is many things; chief among them, he is the man responsible for some of the greatest comedies that the 1990s and 2000s have known. But that reputation is about to undergo a horrific make over by way of "Red State," the filmmaker's latest indie effort that thrusts a considerable cast (including John Goodman and Michael Angarano) into the blood-soaked world of religious fundamentalism.

You've likely heard about "Red State" by now, and if you haven't, you will soon: Smith is returning to his indie roots by taking the horror flick out on a multi-city tour where fans can get a sneak peek well in advance of the film's proper October 2011 debut. But you can learn a whole lot more about "Red State" even earlier than that right here on MTV.com.

As a reminder, we're proudly presenting "First Take: Live With Kevin Smith," a special live-stream interview with the director airing on MTV.com this Tuesday (February 8th) from 3 PM – 4 PM EST!

Liam Neeson is a very busy man these days. He's got a few sequels and cameos up his sleeve, in addition to the upcoming thriller "Unknown," co-starring Diane Kruger and January Jones.

When MTV News caught up with him over the weekend to talk about "Unknown," in which he plays a character with shades of Bryan Mills from "Taken," I asked him if he was surprised at how much people love that film and of course had to pump him for few details about "Taken 2."

"I thought it was a good little B-movie when I first read it," Neeson said of "Taken." "I thought, 'This is cool, very simple, maybe straight to video, but it's a good little film, it's a chance to do all that physical stuff.' And then it just seemed to hit a pulse in people, it did very very well which I'm thrilled about and we're hoping to do another one next year sometime."

And what might that film entail?

While the various movie trailers shown throughout the Super Bowl were obviously the highlight of the weekend, you may have missed out on another major movie event on Saturday night. Need a hint? Here's a pretty obvious one: it's Wayne's World! Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!

The hilarious basement-dwelling duo of Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar reunited for the first time in years this past weekend when Dana Carvey hosted "Saturday Night Live." The night kicked off with a surprise reunion between Carvey and Mike Myers' long-haired alter egos, with Wayne and Garth still equipped with their signature bathroom-humor-fueled insight as they analyzed this year's Oscar contenders.

Great ExpectationsGiven his past body of work, our expectations of Mike Newell's future film output are certainly great: the man is responsible for classics including "Four Weddings and a Funeral," not to mention arguably the "Harry Potter" franchise's greatest installment with "Goblet of Fire," and even a video game adaptation in the form of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."

But while a trip to the gaming world might seem like a step towards the future of filmmaking, the British filmmaker's next move is a decisive step back towards his classic, literary nature. This is, by the way, a good thing: the enormously talented director is on board to breathe life into one of the great literary works of all time, an adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations."

There's one person on planet Earth having a better time today than Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rogers. His name is Max Page and he's the six-year-old kid who starred in arguably Sunday night's funniest commercial, a Volkswagen ad in which he appears in full Darth Vader garb, attempting to use the Force on everything from a sandwich to the family dog.

Page and his mom appeared on "Today" this morning for an interview that was too adorable for words. Turns out Page is a regular on "The Young and the Restless," playing the spawn of a predictably dysfunctional twosome. He's also appeared in two regional commercials, one for Clear Communications and another for Walgreens. Smiling delightfully throughout his interview with Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira, Page said that friends have been asking for his autograph and wondering, perhaps because the Super Bowl spot aired after their bedtimes, where they can see the commercial themselves.

Jeff BridgesJeff Bridges can't do nothin' for ya, son, but can he do something for "The Seventh Son?"

That's what the folks at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are counting on, as they've reportedly cast the Oscar-winning actor in the lead role of "The Seventh Son," an adaptation of the Joseph Delaney novel "The Last Apprentice."

Just Jared reports that Bridges, currently best known for his Oscar-nominated turn as the fantastically drunk and word-slurring lawman Rooster Cogburn in "True Grit," has signed on to star as an exorcist in "The Seventh Son," based on Delaney's popular series of fantasy books. Offers are currently out to "I Am Number Four" actor Alex Pettyfer and "Winter's Bone" actress Jennifer Lawrence to star in the film as well.
