Already no stranger to making headlines, Kevin Smith sent a jolt through the movies community when he announced at the Sundance Film Festival his intentions to take his latest movie on the road with The "Red State" U.S.A. Tour, kicking off on March 5 in New York City.
If you thought the excitement ended there, think again! On Tuesday, February 8th, we're kicking off "First Take: Live With Kevin Smith" right here at MTV News! Smith himself will be appearing live on MTV.com with MTV Movies Editor Josh Horowitz, who will be interviewing the filmmaker about the forthcoming "Red State." We'll also be debuting an exclusive clip from the film.
But the best part of all? You can ask your very own questions, too!
If you want to participate in our live streaming video, all you have to do between now and Tuesday is tweet your questions for Smith along with the hashtag #AskKevin. It's that simple! The Q&A will go for a full hour between 3PM - 4PM EST on Tuesday, so tune in then to see Smith answering your questions.
Over the past several weeks and months, Smith has been quite vocal about handling press for "Red State" on his own terms.
