Earlier this week, we asked you, the loyal MTV Movies Blog readers, which movies, actors, directors, writers, composers and songs you thought should win at this year's Golden Globes -- and you responded to the tune of almost 8,400 votes.
The verdict? "Inception" dominated with four victories, earning your stamp of approval in the Best Picture - Drama, Best Director and Best Screenplay for Christopher Nolan, and Best Score for "Hans Zimmer. While Zimmer and Nolan won their categories handily, the Best Picture - Drama race was a tight one, with "Inception" prevailing by just a few percentage points over runner-up "Black Swan" and third-place finisher "The Social Network."
Colin Firth of "The King's Speech" and Natalie Portman of "Black Swan" crushed the competition for Best Actor and Actress - Drama, respectively. Christian Bale won a handy victory in the Best Supporting Actor category for his tour-de-force turn in "The Fighter," but it came down to the wire for the Best Supporting Actress, with "Black Swan" starlet Mila Kunis barely edging out "The King's Speech"'s Helena Bonham-Carter.
Meanwhile, on the Musical or Comedy side of things, "Alice in Wonderland" scored Best Picture honors and a win for leading man Johnny Depp, while Emma Stone earned an easy Best Actress win for "Easy A."
