The FighterYou definitely haven't seen Christian Serratos in the "Twilight" series wearing the kind of makeup she put on for a Black Keys video in her feed this week. She and Danny Masterson both sported some new looks and posted pics.

The big trending topic in international news today, though, was WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange getting granted bail in London, where Michael Moore stepped in and got personally involved. His reaction to the situation and a roundup of Golden Globe nomination chatter have been retweeted for you after the jump.

Jon FavreauFROM SPLASH PAGE: There are countless reasons as to why the "Iron Man" film franchise has been so successful since launching in 2008, with director Jon Favreau being one of the most essential ingredients. Naturally, then, it's troubling to hear that Favreau won't return to direct "Iron Man 3."

Vulture reports that the director of the first two "Iron Man" films won't be coming back for its forthcoming third installment. According to the report, Favreau informed Marvel Studios of his decision last night. Read More...

Riley KeoughSince "Snow White and the Huntsman" has almost nailed down its huntsman in the form of the Inglorious Basterd Michael Fassbender, the Black Listed screenplay is now in search of its Snow White. Universal had offered the role up to Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Saoirse Ronan (though they weren't on our own wishlist), but according to The Hollywood Reporter the studio has opted to go with a relatively unknown lead.

Some of the names, however are a little bit better known than others. Universal is holding screen tests with Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, who appeared opposite Stewart and Fanning earlier this year in "The Runaways." She certainly has skin as white as snow and lips as red as rose, and with some dark black hair we could totally see her in the role. Read More...

Kelly MacdonaldShooting may have wrapped on the set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" over the summer, but that doesn't mean the cameras have stopped rolling. In an interview with "Boardwalk Empire" leading lady Kelly Macdonald, Vanity Fair found out that the actress was recently cast in "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" and is now filming her role in post-production.

Macdonald will be playing the Ravenclaw house ghost, the Grey Lady. Harry Potter's search for Horcruxes that started in "Half-Blood Prince" and continued through "Deathly Hallows: Part 1" will inevitably bring the boy wizard back to Hogwarts in "Part 2," and that's where the Grey Lady, real name Helena Ravenclaw, comes in to play. Not to give too much away, but she has some information that will help Harry, Ron and Hermione on their quest. Read More...

Mila KunisWhen "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane decided to make the jump to the big screen with a live-action comedy about a man with a teddy bear sidekick, we knew it would be be big. The film, called "Ted" (and, previously, "Teddy Bear") already has Mark Wahlberg attached to play the lead, a normal guy from Boston who just happens to have a stuffed best friend. And now MacFarlane is looking to round-up some supporting stars.

Chief among them is Mila Kunis, who has voiced Meg Griffin on "Family Guy" for 10 years now. Last night, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Kunis was in negotiations for a part in the film... but when MTV News rang her up for comment this morning, she told us that nothing is set in stone just yet. Zack SnyderZack Snyder is in the midst of early pre-production on Warner Bros.' "Superman" reboot, but recently his mind has been occupied not only with the Man of Steel but also with owls with blades of steel, for the 3-D animated flick "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole."

The director's animated birds of prey are serious badasses, strapping on metallic weaponry and engaging in the sort of aerial battles that even Superman would respect. After debuting in theaters last September with some of the most beautiful 3-D imagery to date, the film arrives on DVD on Tuesday (December 14).

Recently, Snyder called up MTV News to talk about how he applied the lesson of "300" and "Watchmen" to "Guardians," his thoughts on 3-D and why he couldn't sneak a decapitation scene into a movie for kids. Read More...

The Tourist and True Grit

It's not the least bit shocking that awards-season front runners like "The Social Network," "The King's Speech" and "Black Swan" cleaned up when the 68th annual Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning. But "The Tourist"? We love Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp as much as the next person, but apparently not nearly as much as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which doles out the Globes. Despite ice-cold reviews and a lukewarm box-office reception, "The Tourist" walked away from today's nominations with three nods, including one for Best Picture. And that was just one of the big surprises. Mark Wahlberg's boxing drama "The Fighter" weighed in with an impressive six noms, while Depp was nominated twice in the same category.

As usual, there were a fair amount of prominent snubs as well. Not a single nod for "True Grit"? Seriously? And are "The Tourist" and "Burlesque" and the rest of Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy race really more worthy of a nomination in that category than "Toy Story 3"? Check out our picks for the biggest snubs and surprises of this year's Golden Globes nominations. Read More...

EminemEminem is a rapper by trade, but don't forget about his critically acclaimed feature film debut in "8 Mile" some years ago. Almost a full decade later, it appears that the artist himself is remembering just how talented he is in front of the camera.

Deadline reports that Marshall Mathers is teaming up with "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter and DreamWorks for "Southpaw," a new drama starring Eminem as "a fast-rising welterweight boxer who brawls his way to the title, only to see his world crash down around him due to tragedy."

Sutter, who is writing the screenplay, said that he's approaching "Southpaw" as a metaphorical biography of the second chapter of Eminem's life. Read More...

Sharlto CopleySharlto Copley wasn't an actor when his pal Neill Blomkamp asked him to do a read-through of the script for the sci-fi thriller "District 9." Blomkamp liked Copley's performance so much that he asked him to play the lead in the film, tt went on to be a hit, and Copley immediately shot to stardom.

Copley followed up that film with something notably lighter, a turn as loopy ex-military man "Howling Mad" Murdock in Joe Carnahan's "A-Team" movie. If it seems like he was born to play the role, that makes sense: As Copley told MTV News in an interview to promote the movie's December 14 DVD release, he grew up watching "The A-Team" and even felt a special connection to Murdock. We're not sure what that says about Copley, but he certainly was a lovely fellow to chat with. The South African dished on everything from what he'd like to see happen in an "A-Team" sequel to hilarious DVD extras to the time he tried to mock-seduce co-star Jessica Biel with a mid-take rendition of Justin Timberlake's (a.k.a Biel's boyfriend) "SexyBack." We love it when a mid-shoot seduction comes together.

Black Swan and The Social NetworkAwards season is officially in full swing, as Blair Underwood, Josh Duhamel and Katie Holmes got out of bed super early this morning to announce the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's nominations for the 68th annual Golden Globes.

Keeping in line with the awards and nominations already doled out this year, Tom Hooper's historical drama "The King's Speech" led the field with seven nominations, while David Fincher's searing look at the founding of Facebook, "The Social Network," and David O. Russell and Mark Wahlberg's real-life boxing tale "The Fighter" followed close behind with six apiece. Darren Aronofsky's dark ballet thriller "Black Swan" scored four nods. In other, also unsurprising news, HFPA favorite Johnny Depp will compete against himself in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category, scoring nods for his turn as the Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland" and for playing the title role in Angelina Jolie-co-starring "The Tourist." And, in more surprising news, the Coen Bros.' gritty Western "True Grit," thought to be a Globes front runner, was shut out of all the major awards.

On the TV front, "Glee" lead the way with five nominations, while a bevy of shows -- including "30 Rock," "Mad Men," "Boardwalk Empire" and "Mad Men" -- scored three nods each.

Check out a full list of the movie and TV nominees below, and come back soon for an analysis of this year's biggest Globes snubs and surprises. Read More...
