Snoop DoggNo matter who they're supporting, most of the faces in the Twitter-Wood feed discussing elections in the U.S. today just want you to get out and vote. Some expressed stronger recommendations, though, such as Sylvester Stallone, who used "The Manchurian Candidate" to help illustrate his point.

In other posts, Snoop Dogg looked like he was having a good time kicking back for his birthday with a few junior football player pals. Snoop, his birthday cake and LeVar Burton with a sticker on his face await you down below.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for November 2, 2010. Read More...

James Franco didn't really get his arm crushed under a boulder while filming "127 Hours" with "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle... but at some points during production, it sure felt like he had.

Based on the real-life story of mountain climber Aron Ralston, who got pinned beneath a fallen rock in Utah and had to amputate his own arm with a pen knife to survive (we kid not), "127 Hours" pushed Franco to his physical limits on a daily basis... sometimes to the point where the actor himself couldn't tell whether he was acting or simply experiencing.

"You could write [in a screenplay] that he tries to tie the pulley and then he gets frustrated, you can do that moment, but actually trying to do [that while] being trapped, and doing it with my left hand, and doing that for like 15 minutes, I remember yelling out [the F-word] a couple of times," Franco told MTV News. "That was like the character and me blurring at that moment."

Let's be honest for a moment here, folks: Beyond the fact that "Due Date" comes from "The Hangover" director Todd Phillips and leading men Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, there really isn't anything else you need to know about the project to determine whether or not it's your cup of tea.

That's not to say that there isn't fun to be had on the "Due Date" front -- there is. Lots of fun, it turns out, as MTV's very own Josh Horowitz discovered at the movie's red carpet premiere in New York City earlier this week. As you're about to learn, the trio of Downey, Galifianakis and Phillips is not only a mighty force, but a hilariously awkward one as well.

You can revel in some of the interview's most bizarre moments in the clip above, and after the jump, we've got a breakdown of all the awkwardness that ensues when you toss RDJ, Zach G. and Phillips into the same room together. Read More...

Every day that passes brings us one day closer to the November 19 release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (only 17 days left!) and, more often than not, also brings some new clip or featurette from the film. The latest video, which -- shocker! -- arrived today, focuses on the story in "Part 1," and gives us some fun looks at the early moments of the film. Yes, we're talking about some new clips of the seven Potters and Death Eaters chase scenes, in addition to some great never-before-seen video of Bathilda Bagshot and the Snatchers.

But, since it's a featurette, we've also got some insights from stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, director David Yates, and producers David Heyman and David Barron (the Davids abound on the set of "Harry Potter").

"The stakes are a lot higher in this film than they probably ever have been before. Harry suspects that any day now something's going to happen. Either the Order's going to save him or the Death Eaters will be coming for him," Radcliffe says to set up the early atmosphere of the film. "I don't think Harry can quite let go of a sense of impending doom." Read More...

Leonardo DiCaprioMove over Hannibal Lecter, there's a new serial killer coming to town, and he's going to have the far less intimidating baby face of Leonardo DiCaprio.

Deadline is reporting that DiCaprio has picked up the rights to the adaptation of Erik Larson's "The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness At The Fair That Changed America" and is planning on playing one of the film's two leads, Dr. H.H. Holmes, who is America's first documented serial killer.

The nonfiction book, which was released in 2003, takes place in Chicago when the city is hosting the World's Fair of 1893. It entwines the lives of Daniel Burnham, the architect who laboriously built the World's Fair, and Holmes, who build a hotel near the World's Fair grounds and used it to lure somewhere between 27 and 200 victims to their death. With all the heavy roles DiCaprio has been choosing, from "Shutter Island" to "Hoover," I'm personally glad that he chose to play the character of Holmes and not Burnham. Read More...

James NesbittThe merry band of dwarves who'll be accompanying Martin Freeman's Bilbo Baggins on a quest to destroy the dragon Smaug in "The Hobbit" continues to grow: James Nesbitt and Adam Brown have just joined the cast of the two-part "Lord of the Rings" prequel Peter Jackson is currently prepping to shoot in his native New Zealand.

Nesbitt, a British actor best known for Danny Boyle's "Millions" and TV's "Cold Feet," had been rumored for a role in the films for a while, but had not been confirmed until now. He will play Bofur -- a no-nonsense, funny and courageous dwarf. Brown, a relative newcomer, will play fellow dwarf Ori. Both of them will set out with Frodo Baggins' uncle Bilbo to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the deadly dragon Smaug. Read More...

Jamie ChungSorry, Heather Graham! We knew you weren't reprising your role as sweet stripper Jade in "The Hangover 2," but now you have officially been replaced. The Hollywood Reporter breaks the news that "Sucker Punch" star Jamie Chung has joined the cast as the fiancée of Ed Helms's character's Stu.

The fact that the 27-year-old Chung might be a tad too young -- and hot -- for Stu aside, this at least allows us to flesh out the film's plot a little more. Maybe Stu's bachelor party is the catalyst for our boys' new adventure in Bangkok, where Alan (Zach Galifianakis) reportedly beds a transsexual (accidentally, we think) and the boys encounter an angry tattoo artist played by Liam Neeson. Who knows, maybe the tranny and tattoo artist will be one and the same (fingers crossed)? Read More...

Anne HathawayCasting rumors have abounded over the past week for the upcoming action-adventure flick "Snow White and the Huntsman," but surprisingly none of those have involved who might portray the titular Snow White. As of today, Johnny Depp is rumored to be up for the role of the Huntsman and Charlize Theron is being eyeballed to play the evil queen Ravenna, who's trying to kill Snow White. But there hasn't been a question as to who might potentially play the girl with skin as white as snow, lips as red as a rose, and hair black as ebony.

Well, we're raising that question now. In this edgy version of the Brothers Grimm tale, Snow White not only has to be an innocent princess, but also has to turn into a total badass who, after being trained by the Huntsman, goes to get her revenge on Ravenna. We'll get to the guy who will be playing her Prince Charmant (yes, Charmant... not Charming) at a later date; for now, here are our suggestions for who'd make a kick-ass (literally) Snow White. Kevin SmithKevin Smith works quickly.

Two days after finishing up the 25-day shoot on his new horror flick "Red State," the "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy" director held a wrap party, during which he screened a finished cut of the film for the cast and crew. That's right -- the freaking thing was completely edited and even included a six-minute end-credit sequence.

"We finished shooting late Wednesday night, but I've been cutting the flick every free moment over the 25 days of production," Smith wrote on his blog yesterday. So at our wrap party last night (for the flick we wrapped 2 days ago, mind you) we also watched the flick we just completed. And I'm not talking about some bulls--t assembly, either: this puppy is fine-cut, complete with credits and some pre-mixing: 92 mins without credits, 98 mins with a end credit sequence that's not to be believed."

Smith said a turnaround this quick "may be an absolute first -- particularly considering the director was also the editor (I haven't slept much)." In what may be another first, Smith revealed that the film's spooky first poster, which he calls "The Holy Ghost," was designed by Melissa Bloom, an assistant to one of the film's producers. Check it out after the jump. Read More...

FROM SPLASH PAGE: The road toward a brand new "Superman" movie is a long one, but it's gotten shorter thanks to the involvement of director Zack Snyder. The filmmaker, already known amongst comic book fans for his work on "300" and "Watchmen," is set to put his stamp on the Man of Steel for the character's 2012 big screen revamp — but that doesn't mean he was always considered the front runner to direct the Christopher Nolan-produced film.

Indeed, several directors were considered for the "Superman" reboot, with "Back to the Future" helmer Robert Zemeckis listed as one of them. But in a recent interview with MTV News, Zemeckis thoroughly downplayed his rumored involvement with the iconic DC Entertainment property.

"I passed on that faster than a speeding bullet," he told MTV News about his brief connection to "Superman." See what else Zemeckis had to say about the "Superman" reboot on Splash Page.

Would Zemeckis have been a good choice to direct "Superman"? Tell us in the comments!
