The Seven PottersWith the wealth of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" trailers and TV spots Warner Bros. has treated fans to over the course of the last month or so, seeing the "Seven Potters" -- Harry's pals, both male and female, transformed by a spot of Polyjuice Potion into perfect Potter doppelgangers in order to act as decoys during a daring escape from 4 Privett Drive -- has become old hat by now.

But while the various videos have shown the Seven Potters (two of them clad in full-on women's ensembles) standing around in awkward disarray in the aftermath of their Polyjuice potion swigging, the characters' transformation has heretofore remained unseen. Now, a new clip from the flick has hit the official "Harry Potter" Facebook page to sate our curiosity, showing everything from Mad Eye Moody hatching the plan to Harry's obligatory protestation to the metamorphosis of Fred, George, Fleur, Ron, Hermione and Mungungus Fletcher. Check out the clip below. Read More...

Pride and Prejudice and ZombiesThough the movie still doesn't have a leading lady attached to it, "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" is one of the hottest film adaptations-to-be in Hollywood right now. The previously attached director was David O. Russell, who has headed such quirky films as "Three Kings" and "I Heart Huckabees," but he left the project last month to direct "Uncharted Drake's Fortune." Since then, Lionsgate has been toying around with just how they're going to present the flick to audiences, and thus has yet to settle on a replacement.

That could change very soon. The Los Angeles Times blog 24 Frames is reporting that the two lead contenders to direct the flick are "The School of Rock" scribe Mike White and "The Descent" helmer Neil Marshall, though they say there's also a chance "Rocket Science" director Jeffery Blitz could sneak up and snag the project from both of them. The three very different directors would seemingly have three very different visions, so we decided to weigh the pros and cons of each of them. Read More...

Lil WayneLil Wayne was a hot topic for conversation on and off of Twitter today now that he's out of lock-up. Donald Glover hopes someone was able to get a picture, while Marlon Wayans sounded skeptical, and David Faustino expects big things for Weezy tonight at his post-prison release party.

Halloween costume pictures have still be showing up as well, and you can find Billy Burke and Jason Mewes sharing what they wore after the jump. They're there along with Stephen Colbert's thoughts on Prop 19 failing in California, Elizabeth Banks with a face from "Lost" and the shooting location where you might have seen Emmy Rossum working today.

Anna Kendrick has played Bella Swan's bestie in the "Twilight" movies and George Clooney's high-strung co-worker and traveling companion in "Up in the Air." But as far as we know, she's never shot blue lasers out of her palm to collect the souls of various wicked dudes around L.A. That's exactly what she does in the "Supervideo" below, which features the LCD Soundsystem song "Pow Pow" and is directed by "Street Kings" helmer David Ayer. We don't know exactly why she's doing this, but it sure is fun to watch.

What do you think of the Anna Kendrick "Supervideo"? Tell us in the comments!

In this weekend's "Due Date," Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis play a pair of road-tripping companions who don't so much go together like peanut butter and jelly or bread and butter as they do like chocolate chip mint ice cream and pickles.

This fact is on visible display in a new clip for the film, available below for your viewing pleasure. But first a little set-up: For hilarious reasons we won't get into here, Downey's architect/soon-to-be dad Peter Highman and Galifianakis' wannabe actor Ethan Tremblay are forced to road-trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Peter in time for the birth of his first child and Ethan for a meeting with an agent he hopes can land him a role on a certain hit TV show. As they get to know each other over a meal at Waffle House, certain things come to light. For one, they probably don't want to drink what Ethan's carrying around in that coffee can of his.

"Zoolander 2" is one of those projects that we here at MTV News have been dying to see for, oh, the past nine years. And, lately, there have been an orange-mocha-frappucino-ful of reasons to believe that the wait for a sequel to the 2001 male-supermodel hit might soon be over.

In early October, Justin Theroux told MTV that he and Ben Stiller were putting the finishing touches on the "Zoolander 2" script. Just this week, Jonah Hill confirmed that he's talked to Stiller about playing a villain in the film. And now, we've got some good news from Mr. Blue Steel himself.

"We're working on it, we're working on it," Stiller told MTV News of "Zoolander 2" at last night's "Megamind" red carpet premiere. "Hopefully next year we're going to be making it. But we've been full steam ahead on it." Read More...

MegamindWhen you think of the meanest, cruelest, most downright despicable villains of all time, Will Ferrell is probably not at the top of your list. He's hoping he can change your mind with "Megamind," his new supervillain-centric animated film gracing the big screen this weekend -- but even then, you may just find that Ferrell's latest character is less of the evil genius variety and more of a comedic powerhouse.

That's not to say that the animated world isn't without its fair share of villainy, of course. Feel-good though they may be, the vast majority of family-oriented animated flicks are populated by nefarious nemeses intended to off-balance the comedy with a healthy heaping of terror.

After the jump, check out our selection of five of the greatest animated villains of all time! Read More...

Scarlett JohanssonScarlett Johansson has always been just a little bit sexier than humanly possible, and at long last it's clear why: She's an alien! OK, not really, but she's set to play one in "Under the Skin," a new sci-fi drama from "Sexy Beast" writer-director Jonathan Glazer, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

And ScarJo isn't just playing any alien. According to FilmNation, the company behind the project: "Johansson plays an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey -- her voracious sexuality." Hmmm ... if that didn't sound so much like the plot of a porn movie, it might remind me of the 1995 flick "Species." That puppy starred Natasha Henstridge as a sexy alien intent on getting knocked up -- so she uses her, um, voracious sexuality to seduce men, bang them and then kill them afterward, praying mantis-style. Remember how excited we were two days ago when that new story-oriented "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" featurette was released? Well, so do we, and it looks like Warner Bros. doesn't want us to forget that enthusiasm any time soon. The Los Angeles Times's Hero Complex blog got their hands on a new clip from the film that is an extension of the Ron and Harry showdown outside the Burrow that we saw in Tuesday's featurette.

All the "Harry Potter" actors have said that they really put their everything into these final two films, and this clip totally shows it. Rupert Grint hasn't always had a chance to shine in the "Potter" films like his co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Tom Felton have, but judging by this clip it looks like "Part 1" gives him the opportunity. The way Ron tries to talk down Harry from running off to destroy Voldemort's Horcux's in the middle of the night is some of the best acting we've seen from Grint to date. Read More...

Just this week, Warner Bros. released the official plot synopsis for director Zack Snyder's "Sucker Punch," and the online outlets lucky enough to visit the film's set last year were released from embargo to share their experience. So it only makes sense that a kick-ass, full-length trailer has now hit the Interwebs. If you have any knowledge of the film's premise, the trailer definitely fleshes out some of the elements of the plot we've learned this week... but even if you know squat about the movie, this bad boy will knock your socks off.

There's definitely much more exposition in this trailer than this summer's teaser. We see Baby Doll (Emily Browning) lose everyone she loves and get tossed into a mental institution for murdering the man she blames. Read More...
