For a while now, "Chronicles of Narnia" had to be worried that "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," the follow-up to "Prince Caspian" might ever make it to the big screen. But thanks to (Fox rescuing the franchise after Disney dropped it, the third film in the series (or fifth, depending upon how you're counting) finally has a rendezvous with the big screen this holiday season, and I couldn't be more excited. "Dawn Treader" has always been my favorite, since it's ultimately just a fantastical version of "The Odyssey." Sure, there are plenty of Christian undertones in the book that may or may not make it into the film, but my 11-year-old self missed all those when I read it the first time anyway.

The latest trailer has hit the Internet and gives us a better look at the film than the previous teasers have. Finally there's a good look at newcomer Will Poulter, who will be playing the Pevensie's obnoxious cousin Eustace Scrubb.

For anyone who's read the book, they'll be excited to see a certain golden dragon featured pretty heavily in the first half of the trailer, which is a wonderful surprise considering that's one of the bigger moments in the story. Read more...

Harrison Ford talks Indiana Jones 5There are basically four schools of thought when it comes to making "Indiana Jones 5." One: It's an awesome idea because "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was rad and more Indy is always a good thing. Two: It's necessary because "Crystal Skull" was sort of a letdown and Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas deserve a chance to give Dr. Jones a proper sendoff. Three: It's not advisable because "Crystal Skull" was the aforementioned letdown. Four: It's a bad idea because "Indy 4" was the perfect swan song.

Regardless of how fans feel about the prospect of "Indiana Jones 5," however, the reality is that the movie whipped up $786 million worldwide... making a fifth installment all but a foregone conclusion. Plus, the 68-year-old Ford is just itching to don Indy's iconic fedora one more time, as he told MTV News MTV News at the press junket for his new comedy "Morning Glory," in theaters November 10.

"It's on George's plate," Ford said of an Indy sequel. "And I'm hoping he's working hard at it, because I'd look forward to doing it again if the three of us could get together -- George, [director] Steven Spielberg, myself -- I'd love to do another." Read more...

Getting 25 stitches and nearly losing an eye while filming the last "Transformers" movie hasn't exactly made Shia LaBeouf tentative on the set of the newest man-and-good-robot-vs.-bad-robot franchise installment, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."

In fact, new photos from the set prove that the young but seasoned action star is still doing many of his own stunts, including running down the side of a glass building full steam ahead. Even the badass military guys with guns are already on their butts sliding in the pic below, but "The Beef" is still airborne -- looking like he's about to launch into some kind of controlled slide.

Chad Michael MurrayBy Irene Lee

Chad Michael Murray seems to enjoy not only charming moviegoers, but also scaring them silly. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "House of Wax" star Murray is revisiting the horror genre in the next installment of Lionsgate's "Haunting" franchise, "The Haunting in Georgia."

Audiences first encountered the psychological horror thriller in "The Haunting in Connecticut," which scared up a hefty box-office profit in 2009. Though the film followed the fictional Campbell family's haunting by supernatural forces, it was based on the supposed true story of Carmen Reed.

"Georgia" will continue to use this based-on-true-events formula. Abigail Spencer ("Mad Men"), Emily Alyn Lind, and Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") join Murray in filling out the roles of the real-life Wyrick family. Murray’s character, Andy Wyrick, is described as a straight-shootin' blue collar husband/dad whose wife Lisa (Spencer) is plagued by horrific visions, which she shares with her sister (Sackhoff) and fears she may have passed to her daughter (Lind). MegamindThe Dallas Cowboys fell to 1-7 after losing to the Green Bay Packers Sunday, and their fans and foes alike in Twitter-Wood let out a collective groan. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's who these days, but Danny Masterson and Omar Epps both tried to speak some truth about the matter.

In other news, Ice-T's plea for an early copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" seems to have paid off. He tweeted a pic with the results, which you should find far less shocking than a self-portrait shared by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Gaze upon it if your dare after the jump along with Justin Bieber's reaction to "Megamind" and what Frankie Muniz plans on doing with the money he saved on his car insurance.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for November 8, 2010. Read more...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows cafe attack clipThe "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" promotional deluge continues today, with an action-packed little clip entitled "Cafe Attack" making its way online courtesy of Yahoo!

In the one-minute-long video, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) are sitting at a cafe minding their own business and plotting their next move -- can't go to the Leaky Cauldron, nor the Burrow... so where to? -- when a couple of chaps in coveralls waltz into the cafe to order the pastrami-on-rye combo meal. Only instead of pulling their wallets out to pay for their food, they yank their wands out of their pants instead. (And when we say wands, we mean that in the most PG-13, magic-oriented sense of the word -- this is a family movie, after all.)

Wizardly, laser-infused awesomeness ensues. Check out the clip below! Read more...

Everybody loves a kung-fu-fighting panda bear -- we learned that much in 2008, when audiences flocked to theaters to listen to Jack Black be charmingly hilarious for an hour and a half in "Kung Fu Panda." That's why we're so thrilled that a teaser for "Kung Fu Panda 2" hit the Interwebs today, looking like it's going to be just as funny as the original. Now, pay close attention, keep your eyes open, and...

Did you beat Po in that staring contest? I'll admit, he had the strength of will to not blink for a lot longer than I did, though I am glad he's thinking that we as an audience are collectively looking much better than we did two years ago. From what we know of the sequel's plot, though, Po should have been focusing a bit more on his fighting skills than on winning a staring contest. He has quite the villain coming for him this time around. Read more...

Apollo 13Director Timur Bekmambetov has been tapped to produce "Apollo 18" for The Weinstein Company, but before you go thinking that it has anything to do with the previously released "Apollo 13," think again: This movie is an alien-themed found footage sci-fi thriller, while "Apollo 13" is the Oscar-winning true story about a space mission gone wrong.

The titles are very close to one another, so it's certainly forgivable if you mixed the two up. Indeed, it's a common problem throughout cinema -- with so many films in existence, there are bound to be some confusingly similar titles here and there.

After the jump, check out some other similarly titled movies that couldn't be more different from each other! Read more...

Mike WhiteIt still doesn't have a leading lady attached to it, but "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" looks like it's finally slayed itself a director. Last week, the list of candidates was narrowed down to three potential directors -- Mike White, Neil Marshall and Jeffery Blitz -- and on Friday Deadline confirmed that an offer had been put out to White. Thank goodness, because that means we're definitely in for a comedy.

We're still waiting on an official confirmation that the much-sought-after Scarlett Johansson will be playing Elizabeth Bennett, but we're hopeful she'll come on board now that the project has a director. The biggest impediment to Johansson's involvement could be her suddenly busy schedule -- she recently signed on to play a man-eating alien seductress in the sci-fi drama "Under the Skin" and Matt Damon's wife in the Cameron Crowe dramedy "We Bought A Zoo." Harry Potter and the Deathly HallowsA series of awesome new "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" posters have just hit the Internet... but they aren't part of the official Warner Bros. marketing campaign for the film.

It's been a while since the last batch of "Deathly Hallows" banners (WB has been more focused on getting TV spots and clips out there these days -- not that we're complaining), so the good folks over at NextMovie.com have taken it upon themselves to whip up a sextet of their own promotional images to get fans' Potter juices flowing in earnest. Thanks, guys!

The six posters give a shout-out to the WB-approved "Join the Fight" campaign, but what we like about them is that they're fashioned after those old Western "Wanted: Dead or Alive" fliers. It's easy to picture these puppies being tacked up on the door of the now-Voldemort-controlled Hogwarts or on the sign for a Butterbeer purveying tavern. They really capture the life-or-death stakes of the final chapter in the Potter saga.

Check out the full-sized Harry Potter battle poster below, then click on the image to see the other posters -- Voldemort, Ron, Bellatrix Lestrange, Severus Snape and Hermione -- on NextMovie.com. Read more...
