Chances are you've seen the first two trailers for "Paranormal Activity 2," and chances are you still have no clue what the flick is about.
That's all about to change because the newest minute-long teaser, which arrived today on Apple, actually offers some semblance of a plot AND even reveals a few of the characters. Hooray!
After the obligatory shot of a demon-possessed Katie throwing her erstwhile beau into the camera at the end of the first film, the trailer segues into some daytime, non-security-camera footage -- the first of its kind seen from "Paranormal 2" -- that introduces us to the family being haunted in the sequel. Here's the interesting part: All signs point to the matriarch of this fam being the sister of poor ole crazy Katie (Katie Featherston) from the original. Hmm ... this would seem to add credence to our inkling that Paranormal Katie is the one haunting said house these days. Food for thought.
In any case, upon moving into their new digs mommy, daddy, teen daughter and -- yes -- the now famous disappearing baby begin to experience paranormal shenanigans even eerier than those in the first film. Check out the video and see the creepiness for yourself.
"Paranormal Activity 2" opens everywhere on October 22.
