It's hard to ignore a guy who's first film roles are named Bacon and Turkish. It's increasingly difficult to overlook Jason Statham after he moved on from Guy Ritchie films such as "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" to "The Transporter" and "Crank." The British action star takes second billing in "The Expendables" as Lee Christmas, a hand-to-hand combat specialist with a soft side for the ladies.

Claims to Fame
As the cool, collected and capable criminal-for-hire Frank Martin in "The Transporter" and the decidedly more violent and sociopathic Chev Chelios in "Crank," Statham already has two incredibly memorable high-octane action franchises to his name, not to mention a slew of other explosive roles.

Claims to Shame
It's best to forget about Statham's involvement in "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale," and depending on your personal tastes, you might want to pass on some of the actor's risque moments in the "Crank" franchise as well — in fact, you might want to skip that series altogether.

Weapon of Choice
Statham stars in "The Expendables" as Lee Christmas, a knife-wielding badass with deadly precision — except when he's distracted over problems with his girlfriend, played by the beautiful Charisma Carpenter.

What to Expect
Beyond his wonderfully watchable bromance with "Expendables" frontman Sylvester Stallone, Statham gifts the audience with one of the greatest, funniest basketball fight sequences of all time.
