'Transformers 3' Set Footage Features Gunfire, Explosions And Skyscraper Base Jumping

Shooting for "Transformers 3" is well underway in Chicago right now. The movie isn't out until next July, but it takes awhile to digitally create those massive robot aliens and stick them into the movie.

You know how it is with director Michael Bay: wherever he goes, a warzone soon follows. Such is the case with this footage from the Chicago shoot, which you can find after the jump. I have no idea what's going on in this scene, but I'd wager it has something to do with Decepticons tearing ass across the city. When will those puny humans learn that their tiny bullets have no effect on Transformers. It sure isn't going to be this movie, as the set footage illustrates.

Also-- Megan Fox replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley... do you think her hair naturally billows like that? Or are they just pointing a fan at her?
