Steve Carell is having a strong summer, huh? There was "Date Night" and "Despicable Me" and now this weekend's latest comedy, "Dinner for Schmucks." He may be busy promoting all of that, but that's not stopping the funnyman from setting up what's next.
And what's next is apparently "Raised By Wolfs," from "In Living Color" and "The Drew Carey Show" writer/producer Les Firestein. No director yet, nor even a basic plot synopsis, but Carell will star and produce, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. The "Wolfs" referenced in the title is apparently a reference to a main character's last night. I would much prefer to envision "Raised By Wolfs" as a remake/reboot/inspired by retelling of "Walk Like A Man," the awesome '80s comedy starring Howie Mandel (shut up-- it IS awesome) as a guy who is raised in the wild by a pack of wolves. Hilarity ensues when attempts are made to integrate him back into society. I want to see Carell do THAT.
