There should be a law about Nicolas Cage movies. I don't want to see limits placed on them, mind you. Rather, I want to see a law on the books which dictates that there need to be a certain number of films a year starring the multi-talented actor. Cage has proven himself time and again as a guy who can handle both serious acting and over-the-top scenery consumption. "Drive Angry 3-D" looks like the latter in the best way possible.
How do I know this? The footage that premiered at San Diego Comic-Con last week is now safely online for everyone's enjoyment. There's gunfire, crashing cars and a very, very pissed off Cage. Not that he isn't justified. "Drive Angry" is a revenge flick in which the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" star is out hunting for the folks responsible for the death of his daughter. Do you really need to know any more than that? Hit the jump for the trailer.
