Whatever your faith might be, you're probably familiar with the story of Jesus Christ's birth. If not, go ahead and catch yourself up. It's okay, I'll wait.
Good? Good. So there's this movie "Sweet Baby Jesus." The story is set in the '70s, in the town of Bethlehem... Maryland. One day, a new couple arrives in town: Joseph and his pregnant hippie wife Mary. Naturally, the town comes to think that the Second Coming of the savior is imminent. Bette Midler and Sean Brosnan (son of Pierce) are already set for the cast, but today Deadline brings word that Sharon Stone is set for the role of Mary while Adrien Brody, who recently starred in "Predators," is in "final negotiations" for Joseph. I hadn't heard much about this one before, but shooting starts in September with Peter Hewitt directing. He debuted in 1991 with "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey." SOLD!
