You've got have a little respect for Megan Fox. She's had a bad run of luck lately, what with her departure from the "Transformers" and the weekend tanking of "Jonah Hex." But she's staying positive. Later this year, she'll appear with Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray in Mitch Glazer's fantasy/thriller "Passion Play." And most recently, Fox pitched herself to star in an adaptation of the comic book "Gen 13," specifically as the Apache-born, weather-controlling superhero Sarah Rainmaker, who is debatably a lesbian or bisexual, depending on how far into the comic series you've progressed. Bruce WillisEven if you're still a fan of M. Night Shyamalan's body of work, there are few who would argue with the claim that the filmmaker's greatest hits occurred early on with "The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable." Films like "The Village" and "Lady in the Water" just haven't been met with the same critical acclaim. We could argue all day long as to why that is, but there's one ingredient that both "Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable" had that was completely absent from Shyamalan's later films: Bruce Willis.

Now, it appears that Shyamalan is pulling some old tricks out of his hat. The director, whose latest film "The Last Airbender" is barely more than a week away from release, is reportedly re-teaming with Willis for a top secret new project that also calls upon the assistance of actors like Gwyneth Paltrow and Bradley Cooper. Jimmy Fallon is a big fan of your boy, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson. The nighttime talk show host is so taken that he's adopted the brooding persona Pattinson affects in his role at Edward Cullen. And right now, with all of the fervor over soccer/football, Fallon's Robert is bothered by the World Cup. Brace yourselves, vuvuzela-lovers.

As an accomplished musician, entrepreneur, executive, art enthusiast and, most recently, hilariously funny actor, Diddy gets to see a lot of cool stuff and meet some equally cool people. He most recently hung with legendary musician, composer and producer Quincy Jones, a guy who has worked with a diverse assortment of major stars: Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Will Smith, Michael Jackson... the list goes on.

One of Jones' bigger accomplishment is his role as producer on Michael Jackson's hit album "Thriller." Diddy, being a man who appreciates his music history, couldn't skip the opportunity to snatch a photo of himself posing beneath Q's giant framed "Thriller" gold record display. You can see it for yourself after the jump. Read more...

Friends, there is a reason the blog wasn't updated heavily this afternoon. That's because I spent most of mine at a media demonstration showing off Disney's upcoming "Tron Legacy" toys & tech. Watch the video now; we'll talk afterwards.

If this is what toys are like in the future, I'll take some of that "Benjamin Button" serum, please. Lots of cool stuff on display. The first think you see is the Tron Zero Gravity Light Cycle, a remote controlled vehicle which uses fancy vacuum technology to allow for driving on walls. In a cool twist, a beam of light spits out the back of it; if another Light Cycle breaks the beam, it "de-rezzes." Or, in real world terms, it falls off the wall. Neat, right? Read more...

Whether or not it ends up being called "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas," "Harold and Kumar 3" has begun filming, according to writer to writer Jon Hurwitz's tweets today. His movie will follow in the footsteps of other third-chapter films, such as this weekend's box office monster "Toy Story 3." That film's director posted a shot of one of his favorite fans, while actor Nathan Fillion believes the movie may have been the beginning of a very successful date night.

In other posts, Tom Felton and Warwick Davis appear to have had a grand time at Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter over the weekend. Felton even posted a TwitPic from the experience. You can check that out after the jump along with Damon Lindelof's Snooki vs. Sookie question, and picture of Snooki's biting technique, which may answer his question.

I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for June 21, 2010. Read more...

When the executives and creative team from Universal Orlando set out to recreate the world of beloved boy wizard Harry Potter at their theme park in central Florida, they knew it would be no small task. In addition to getting all the big stuff right -- the castle, the rides and the general atmosphere -- the Wizarding World of Harry Potter needed to be a place where fans who have been keeping up with the "Harry Potter" books and films for more than a decade could come in and recognize all of their favorite bits and pieces.

So yes, the castle is breathtaking. And yes, the butterbeer will probably blow your mind (though whether regular or frozen is the way to go is still up for debate). But hands down the best aspect of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is Universal's attention to the little things. Here are some of our favorites. Read more...

As you know from reading our coverage last week (there's more to come too, so stay tuned!), Universal Orlando's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened on June 18. A bunch of the franchise stars came out to celebrate the momentous occasion, but another, even more significant, "Harry Potter" player came out to see the magic firsthand: series architect J.K. Rowling. She wasn't available for interviews, but Universal cut together this nice, little grand opening package which features a few soundbites from the celebrated author. Check it out below.

Whenever I see Michael Shannon is in something, I sit up and take notice. You should too. He's delightfully bizarre, and he channels that aspect of his personality very well in all of his roles. You probably remember him most recently from "The Runaways," in which he played band manager Kim Fowley.

The news today is that Shannon will star as the villain in "Premium Rush," opposite star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The story follows Gordon-Levitt as a dirty cop (Shannon) pursues him through New York City, set on recovering some mysterious envelope that has come into the kid's possession. Jamie Chung, who appears in this Friday's "Grown Ups," is also in talks to star. Head over to The Hollywood Reporter for the full story.

Taylor Lautner is something else, right? He was little more than a bit player in the first "Twilight" movie. Then there were rumors that he wasn't even going to be invited back for "New Moon." Now, the Shirtless One is a celebrity on par with his co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. What's more, he's kind of keeping busier than either of them. Lautner has a ton of stuff coming up, as he was more than happy to discuss with MTV's Josh Horowitz at the recent press junket.

"'Abduction' [shoots] in three weeks," he said, though it's now more like one week. "So 'Abduction,' 'Breaking Dawn' and hopefully ['Stretch Armstrong'] after that." To think that also was attached, as recently as a few months ago, to another pair of action flicks: "Max Steel" and "Cancun." The former is done, but Lautner admits that "Cancun" is still a possibility. Read more...
