Love him or hate him, you're about to get a whole lot more of Les.
Paramount Pictures and MTV Films have announced the development of an untitled Les Grossman movie spinning out of the movie executive's appearances in "Tropic Thunder" and the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Tom Cruise, Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfield of Red Hour Films are producing with "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" screenwriter Michael Bacall tackling the script. Cruise is in talks to portray Grossman in the film.
But don't get too excited — there's still a lot of work to be done before a Grossman movie makes its way to theaters. In fact, Grossman himself has no fewer than five high profile projects that need to get the green light before his own life story goes into development. BAD ASS COPS
Synopsis: Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner ("The Twilight Saga") co-star as a pair of mustached and mismatched police detectives cleaning up the streets of Los Angeles. Operating above the law, these badass cops don't have time to fight each other over the same girl — they just share her instead.
Rated R for graphic violence and strong language. Features scenes of complete "Twilight" reputation eradication.
CHRISTMAS DAY
Synopsis: Will Smith reprises his "Independence Day" role as air force pilot Captain Steve Hiller. Fifteen years have passed since an alien invasion nearly took out the planet on July 4 — and now they're back, this time with a naughty-and-nice list designed to take out humanity's trash in the days leading up to Christmas Day.
Rated PG-13 for alien violence and frequent cigar smoking from Smith and co-star Jeff Goldblum. Warning to parents: provides definitive proof that Santa Claus is not real.
LUDACRIS NIGHTS
Synopsis: A high-powered movie executive named Wes Grostmen (currently uncast) falls in love with a well-known music-and-dance icon (Jennifer Lopez). The only problem? He can't dance. So he enlists the aid of rapper and friend Ludacris (himself) to teach him all of the sweet beats he needs in order to woo the girl of his dreams.
Rated R for language, too-cool-for-school dance movies and a very, very raunchy sex scene at the end. Loosely based on Les Grossman's real life.
IRON MAN III: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE IV
Synopsis: It's the crossover of the century as Marvel Studios' "Iron Man" franchise collides with the "Mission Impossible" universe. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) must work together in an attempt to foil a super-powered terrorist from causing global devastation.
Rated PG-13 for violence, suggestive language and overall awesome-idea-but-never-gonna-happen-ness.
SIMPLE JACK 2
Synopsis: Starring Kirk Lazarus in the title role previously occupied by Tugg Speedman, "Simple Jack 2" revisits the story of the simple farmhand with a heart of gold — except this time, Lazarus won't be going "full retard."
Rated PG for brief nudity.
