The MTV Movie Awards are so close we can almost taste the butter on those golden popcorn statues. Or is that blood, sweat and tears? No matter. On with the show…soon!
Saturday morning begins with delicious memories of last night's inaugural visit to Umami Burger — glorious! sublime! — and the realization that the next hours are going to be super hectic. We'll be hanging fly-on-the-wall style during host Aziz Ansari's rehearsals, chatting with Katy Perry and Pauly D and Vinnie from the "Jersey Shore," and continuing our coverage of every single inch of the Gibson Amphitheatre as the Movie Awards come to life.
Yet the world continues to buzz outside the Universal Studios lot here in only slightly sunny Los Angeles, and we have other business to which we must attend. That's why we're shoving off to "The A-Team" junket, where we'll be chatting with Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Liam Neeson and more. We'll also be hitting the Spike's Guys Choice Awards, where the expected talent includes George Clooney, LeBron James, Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Rock and Sylvester Stallone.
And there you have it. Little more than 24 hours stand between us and the start of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Between now and then, MTV Movies Blog is the place to get the very latest developments and inside scoops about what's gonna go down on show night.
Don't miss the live red-carpet coverage, exclusive movie clips and fist-pumping action on MTV News' "Jersey Shore Blow-Out at the MTV Movie Awards," airing live from Los Angeles this Sunday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
