The young Fett is still broken up over the death of his father Jango at Jedi Master Mace Windu's hands, and so he's hatched a plot with some familiar bounty hunting friends to take his vengeance. After you've seen the new "Eclipse" trailer you can head on over to Twitter where actress Christian Serratos has been hanging out with koalas and learning not to use the word "bear" to refer to them. She didn't seem too thrilled about the idea herself.

In other tweets, Alyssa Milano posted some photo evidence of her involvement with the NFL Draft. Michael Ian Black, meanwhile, wanted to see a different kind of draft on TV, and Frankie Muniz continued his adventure back into acting by starting work on his new movie "Pizza Man." Read all about it below where you'll also see Edgar Wright note the passing of a "Spaced" cast member. It's all in Twitter-Wood for April 23, 2010. Read more...

The new trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" debuted today, cementing the fact that director David Slade is a wonderful, wonderful man. By all accounts, it appears that Slade has brought his signature flair for the supernatural and the horrific to "Eclipse," turning a franchise that's mostly aimed at a younger female audience into something that any action and horror geek could get excited by.

Not that I'm particularly surprised, really. Slade is a talented filmmaker with such expertise over the horror genre that I'm pretty sure he could make any harmless property into something gloriously gory. In fact, here are five seemingly innocent franchises that Slade would have little trouble taking down a dark and dangerous path. Read more...

With rumors circulating that "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart might be stepping in as the lead female in "Wanted 2", many might wonder whether she is up for such an action-heavy role. "Deathgames." The title alone summons up awesome mental images, right? The title bubbled out of the trades last week as an upcoming project with "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz and "Iron Man 2" star Samuel L. Jackson in late-stage talks to headline. Intrigued by the premise -- Jackson kidnaps Lutz and forces him to fight in a modern-day gladiator arena -- I put in a call to Mike Callaghan, who is producing with Motion Picture Corporation of America, for additional details.

"Essentially the idea is, what if you had 'Gladiator' set in the present with modern-day technology," Callaghan explained. "You've got Sam Jackson essentially playing the Caesar who rules over an arena where people fight to the death. And Kellan plays our gladiator, who enters the film as someone that was kidnapped and rises through the ranks to become the head gladiator, the prized fighter."

That's the basic pitch. Things get mighty interesting however when you take a closer look at Jackson's character and how he stages these fights. Read more...

This summer, a bunch of "Saturday Night Live" alumni will be brought together in the movie "Grown-Ups," directed by Dennis Dugan. For his next trick, Dugan will be tackling "Just Go With It," starring Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, Nicole Kidman and Heidi Montag. It must be a tough gig, all those laborious days of shooting in sunny Hawaii.

Kidman is clearly struggling, as you can see in the set photo below. Aniston too; she's the one facing away from the camera. And Sandler? He's on the set, but not in the picture. Probably because he's crying in the corner, his spirit broken by the challenge of shooting under such tough tropical conditions.

We learned earlier in the week from the official "Twilight" Twitter feed that the latest trailer for "Eclipse" is premiering today, on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Oprah, being the all-around badass and friend to the people that she is, understands that you hardened "Twi" fans have no interest in waiting until the late afternoon trailer premiere. So she put the video online early.

It's a little bit hard to find, but you can check it out by clicking right here. Unlike the previous "Eclipse" trailer, the focus here is on the conflict, the action. If you're not familiar with the story, red-headed vampire Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) raises a vampire army in Seattle, intent on using her subjects to take revenge on the Cullen clan for the death of her boytoy vamp James (Cam Gigandet) in the first movie. That's the picture painted in this trailer, which is by far the most action we've seen out of the three movies in the series. Read more...
