Last week it was revealed that "The Reader" director Stephen Daldry was on Summit Entertainment's shortlist of candidates to direct "Breaking Dawn," the final chapter in the "Twilight" series. While the Twi camp hasn't issued any official statement -- heck, "Breaking Dawn" technically hasn't even been "announced" yet -- it seems that Daldry is now out of the running, as it was confirmed today that he'll next direct an adaptation of the Jonathan Safran Foer novel, "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close."
