Angelina Jolie And Johnny Depp Spotted On The Set Of 'The Tourist

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp are currently hard at work on "The Tourist." In the thriller, Jolie plays an Interpol agent tasked with bringing down a French underworld gangster with whom she once had... intimate relations. Her plan comes to involve Frank Taylor (Depp), an American tourist who heads to Europe after a rough break-up. The real takeaway for me is that it seems Depp will be playing an actual human in his next film rather than a caricature. Good stuff.

MTV's Spotted managed to nab a couple of photos from the set of the in-production movie. You can clearly see Jolie and Depp doing their thing and, wouldn't you know it, the "Alice in Wonderland" star does indeed seem to be free of heavy makeup and fantastical props.
