Next Tuesday, December 15, marks the 1000th episode of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS. You care about this because, among the other guests, Ferguson will get some time with "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star Jason Segel. It's actually a little bit more than that. Segel's appearance on the show will be a musical one: he'll perform with his puppet Dracula and the band The Broken West.
Some background might be in order here for those who haven't yet seen "Sarah Marshall." Segel's character in the movie writes a Dracula-inspired rock opera for puppets entitled "A Taste for Love." The song he'll be performing on "The Late Late" show, "Dracula's Lament," is from that rock opera, and The Broken West will be his backing band. Got it? Check out the video after the jump... that ought to clear things up.
