As much as I try to keep things upbeat and positive here on MTV Movies Blog, there are some occasions where I have to let a little bit of cold cynicism shine in. As was the case earlier this week, when the first image emerged from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Even the film's three main stars -- Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint -- looked disappointed in that pic, which didn't even show enough of the surrounding environment for people to guess at what might be going on.
Now there's a second image, which you can see a portion of right here (check out the full version on Yahoo! UK). It may not be filled with the magic and wonderment that fans might be hoping for, but at least there's a little sorcery going on here. And strange surroundings. Where do you think Harry might be in this shot? My guess is that it's one of the musty, old bedrooms in 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family home and one-time headquarters for the Voldemort-hating Order of the Phoenix. Plus, Harry's wand is glowing. At least we get a little magic, right?
Do you approve of this second image from "Deathly Hallows"? What scene from the book are you most looking forward to seeing brought to life?
