Episode Title: "Weapons Factory"

Writer: Brian Larsen

Tagline: "No gift is more precious than trust."

The Story: Last week, Republic forces brought the fight back to Geonosis -- where the Clone Wars started, in "Episode II: Attack of the Clones" -- to destroy a massive new droid factory and put an end to Separatist bigwig Poggle the Lesser's contribution to the conflict. With the way now cleared, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, are joined by Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and her Padawan, Barriss Offee. The plan involves having the two more experienced Force-users create a distraction while Ahsoka abd Barriss sneak inside to sabotage the facility. Skywalker has his doubts however... or perhaps it's just his predilection towards attachment -- his eventual downfall -- getting in the way of the mission. Read More...

Moviegoers braved Armageddon on Friday night by confronting "2012," the Roland Emmerich-directed disaster epic. The film boasts some considerable star power such as John Cusack, Danny Glover, Woody Harrelson and Amanda Peet, but "2012's" major draw has nothing to do with the acting and everything to do with the action of a world-ending calamity. Despite its subject matter, however, "2012" was anything but a disaster as shown by its whopping $23.5 million intake on Friday evening, with a likely weekend total of over $60 million. Read More...

"Ninja Assassin" is badass defined. It delivers on exactly what the title promises. Rain deals out some heavy beatings on ninja, multiple ninja. Any one of whom could single-handedly pick apart a gang of armed Wiseguys. You can't reason with a ninja, nor can you bargain. You can only hope that 100 pounds of gold has not been spent to ensure your death.

Unless Rain is around to offer protection. Then you're all good. There are many new "Ninja Assassin" clips, so keep watching after the video below plays or click here to check 'em all out.

It's been a long week for everyone in Twitter-Wood, especially for those involved with "New Moon." Someone at Mattel managed to sculpt out the abs on a Jacob Barbie doll in time for the film's release next week, though, and there's a pic in the feed today to prove it. Writer Brian Lynch, meanwhile, tweeted that the "Twilight" frenzy has stirred up cases of mistaken identity for him and prompted numerous friends to ask him how often he gets mistaken for the actor.

Jason Reitman seemed to have been hardest hit by the work week, though, seemingly passing out on his set. Check out that shot, along with with a "Star Trek" actor's brush with Neil Armstrong, Ice-T's run-in with Marilyn Manson and Fred Durst's plans for his "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" night-vision googles. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 13, 2009. Read More...

FROM SPLASH PAGE: While Jason Schwartzman's once-secret role as Gideon Graves in "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" has been confirmed for quite a while now, that's pretty much the only secret that's been revealed when it comes to Edgar Wright's live-action adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic book series. Little is known about the look and tone of the film, but what fans have been able to glean from Wright and his cast has been promising.

Take, for example, our recent chat with Schwartzman during the "Fantastic Mr. Fox" junket. Not only has he seen the first 20 minutes of "Scott Pilgrim," but he shared some thoughts with MTV News about how the footage looked.

"I saw the first 20 minutes of it and I'm very proud to be a part of it," said Schwartzman. "It's unlike anything I've seen in my entire life."

Twilighters know Billy Burke as the loveable-but-somewhat-clueless Charlie Swan, Bella’s dad in the on-screen saga. But the veteran actor has never been busier than he is now – with a half-dozen side projects and films currently in some stage of development – and is excited to be bringing his real-life wife and daughter into the mix.

“I did a film called ‘Luster,’ that was being done by friends of mine, and we threw that one together in 3 to 4 weeks,” he said of the indie thriller. “It’s a psychological thriller.” Read More...

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Who would have thunk it? "Charlie's Angels" is back in full throttle! According to Variety, the concept that originated in 1976 is set to be picked up by ABC. The same guy who adapted the now-defunct Fox series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," Josh Friedman, is set to write and exec produce.

The original show was a hit for five years starring the late, great Farrah Fawcett. That TV show later was adapted into two films starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore. Let’s think here. What if Farrah Fawcett had never starred in "Charlie’s Angels", what if Diane Keaton took her spot instead? Or Mia Farrow, maybe? All we know is that if Hollywood Crush were around at the time, we would have had something to say about it!

So, with that being said, we thought it would be rather fascinating to create our own casting suggestions for your personal amusement. After the jump, get ready to hit up the HC Casting Couch once again!

Stephen Colbert is an artful comedian and satirist, but his skills as a barber and his taste in hairstyles are questionable at best, recently evidenced in his decision to shave himself entirely bald. Of course, one of "The Colbert Report" host's many fine qualities is his unparalleled sense of patriotism, which was at the root of his radical haircut in a decision made to support American troops fighting overseas.

Apparently, Colbert's sense of nationalism is contagious. On his show last evening, Colbert managed to convince actor Woody Harrelson — currently promoting "The Messenger," which focuses on an army officer that delivers death notices to soldiers' families — to let him shave his head.

That's right: Stephen Colbert shaving Woody Harrelson's head in a mutual show of solidarity for soldiers fighting abroad. The video evidence is after the jump. Read More...

After steamrolling the box office with "Borat," Sacha Baron Cohen came back for seconds with his flamboyant fashionista, Brüno. Like its predecessor, "Brüno" found Cohen crisscrossing the United States in-character to create awkward, often hilarious situations that push the boundaries of normal behavior.

One of those situations involved none other than erstwhile "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul, who was duped into meeting with Brüno under the auspices of receiving an award. As you'll see, it led to one of the more memorable moments of the film. "Brüno" hits DVD and Blu-ray on November 17.
