CondormanCall them "cult classics." "Guilty pleasures." "Comfort movies." We all have a mental rolodex of flicks that may not be terribly popular but, for one reason or another, they resonate in a very special way. Maybe you saw it at the right moment. Maybe you just see gold where everyone else sees feces. Whatever the case, these are the special favorites that you keep stashed away for sick days. Here are some of ours.

My favorite superhero film of all time is called "Condorman." You've probably never heard of it. It's not an Oscar-nominated picture. It's not particularly well-liked. It isn't based on a comic book. It isn't available on DVD, at least not in the United States. Until recently, I hadn't even seen it since elementary school. To most, it's the very definition of movie theater trash.

To me, it's cinematic gold. Read More...

FROM SPLASH PAGE: Last week, I talked to one of comics greatest living legends, Stan Lee, about his arrival on the Twitter scene and why it makes him feel like he's writing his "Stan's Soapbox" column again. While Lee had some fun stuff to say about the world of micro-blogging, I also had to ask him about a few other things on comics fans' minds these days — namely, whether he'll be making the expected cameos in future Marvel movies.

"I had lunch with Branagh, [who's] the nicest guy in the world as well as the most talented," Lee told MTV News when asked if he's been contacted about a "Thor" cameo yet. "Months ago, when he was first starting on the movie, he said he would get a cameo for me."

Sean ConneryCorrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't Sean Connery supposed to be drinking delicious dragon's tears from the Holy Grail while surrounded by a harem of every beautiful Bond girl in cinema history? That was the impression I was under regarding the beloved actor's retirement plan — as it turns out, I was misinformed.

The erstwhile Henry Jones, Sr. is taking a break from retirement to lend his vocal talents to Sascha and Tessa Hartmann's "Sir Billi," a CGI animated film that's been in production for five years and is set to be completed in 2010. Alan Cumming, Miriam Margoyles, Ruby Wax and others are also providing voice work in the movie. Read More...

FROM MTV.COM: If you've only seen the movie "Twilight" and plan to watch the sequel "New Moon" this weekend, you might get caught up in all the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob hype. If you haven't read Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novels, you might not know which monstrous young man ends up with Bella, and you might not know about some of the stranger elements of "Breaking Dawn."

Taylor Lautner, however, has read the books. And with a "Breaking Dawn" movie as inevitable as death, taxes and "CSI" spin-offs, he's a bit freaked out about what's to come. As Taylor told us recently, he'll have to work closely with the film's director to handle the delicate material.

(Spoilers from "Breaking Dawn" are ahead!)

47 RoninFilmmaker Carl Rinsch isn't the last samurai, but the once rumored "Alien 5" director could well be one of many ronin.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rinsch will assume the role of lord and master — and, of course, director — over "47 Ronin," Universal's samurai film that Keanu Reeves has been attached to star in for some time. Chris Morgan, who previously described the film as borrowing elements of "Gladiator" and "300," wrote the most recent draft of "47 Ronin." Read More...

FROM MTV.COM: Working at MTV News has a lot of cool, weird, random moments. The other day, Jennifer Love Hewitt was hanging out in our lobby whispering into her phone (presumably, a ghost was on the other end). Audrina Patridge comes here more often than the FedEx delivery guy. From Mr. T to Crispin Glover, Dennis Rodman to Jason Reitman, we've seen them all in our building.

But what could be cooler than the time Edward Cullen stopped by?

Yesterday, we paid a visit to New York City's Museum of Modern Art to take a peek at the upcoming Tim Burton career retrospective exhibit (running from November 22 -- Sunday! -- to April 26, 2010). We've got interviews and video... and PICTURES! There's some crazy stuff in there, including a concept drawing of Brainiac from Burton's aborted "Superman Lives" project. FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: With "New Moon" opening Friday and "Eclipse" due June 2010, it seems about time we cast our gaze forward to "Breaking Dawn." And no, it's not too early. Sure, the big screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's forth (and for now final) vampire romance has yet to be announced, but that didn't stop us from asking star Taylor Lautner about the "Twilight Saga"'s larger-than-life finale.

"I'm looking forward to the whole pack splitting up, that could be cool," the 19-year-old said, revealing which scene he is most excited to film for "Breaking Dawn." Taylor wasn't quite so sure, however, who should direct the last installment.

"New Moon" premiered on Monday night in Los Angeles. We were there of course, covering it. And since MTV couldn't bring you the actual movie, we did the next best thing: a pair of "New Moon" TV specials offering an inside look into everyone's favorite vampire series.

First was "'New Moon' Revealed," which I ran on the blog for your viewing pleasure yesterday. The special answered fans five burning questions about Friday's hottest release. Now I'm happy to bring you the second special, "Love Bites," which examines the relationship between "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as it has progressed over the past year-plus. Check it out below.

FROM MTV.COM: For as long as there have been wolf-men, monsters and the Incredible Hulk, one question has always plagued the creators of said creatures: What happens to their clothes when they transform?

When "New Moon" hits theaters this weekend, one thing you'll notice is a lot of shirtless young men. When Taylor Lautner, Chaske Spencer or other members of the wolf pack transform, you can clearly see shreds of pants flying everywhere. And at some point, they need to regain human form, right?
