--Sylvester Stallone has opened up on the secret scene in "The Expendables" featuring himself, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and my greatest dreams come to life. According to the actor, Willis plays the man who hires Stallone and his titular team for "a death-defying mission," but there's another operative that could take on the job — none other than Stallone's longtime rival, played by Schwarzenegger. --NBC is going from "Heroes" to "Zeroes" in an all-new television project from "Crank" duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Titled "Zeroes," the one-hour NBC project will focus on a crisis situation's final hour. "We want to drop right into it and sustain the absolute most berserk state of crisis, when all of the options have been exhausted," said Taylor. (THR)
--Speaking of massive crises, Fox's "24" is about to resurrect an old villain: none other than former President Charles Logan, who last appeared on the cusp of death in the show's sixth season. Despite his final bloody moments, executive producer Howard Gordon said that the opportunity to unite actors Gregory Itzin and Cherry Jones, who plays the current president, "was simply too compelling to pass up." --Morgan Freeman will tap into his geriatric-but-naughty side in an upcoming comedy titled "Dirty Old Men," which Peter Segal is potentially directing. The film focuses on "an aging playboy who finally meets the love of his life," but Morgan's character — the playboy's best friend — does everything he can to interfere with the new couple's happiness. --Sookie Stackhouse and Batman's former main squeeze Rachel Dawes are set to team up in "The Romantics." Katie Holmes has signed on to replace actress Liv Tyler in the Anna Paquin-starring indie movie, which also features the talents of Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood and Adam Brody. --If anybody could get me over the loss of Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, it's Jackie Earle Haley. The purported first review of the "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake has popped up online, describing Haley's performance as "no nonsense, to the point, smarmy, ugly, repulsive and just plain vile... what you would expect from a child molester and it fits the story."
