UPDATE: @MTVMoviesBlog Twitter follower letsdance24 explained the origin of Bower's sign: "the poster is related to the lyrics of his band's song "Venice", only they changed it to 'Rome'..." So there you have it. Thanks letsdance24!!

I need your expertise today, Twilighters. The morning's Daily TwitPic has me stumped. It originates from Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Volturi vampire Caius in "New Moon." You can see him in full regalia in our flipbook gallery.

Now usually I can figure out these cryptic TwitPics. This one seems directly targeted at insiders however. There's not much to it, really. Bower holding up a colorful message scrawled on some oak tag. I'm guessing that it's going to make at least a small contingent of fans very happy. The message reads: "Jamie, we sold it all for the price of your kiss in... Rome." Huh? Anyone? Bueller? Explanations appreciated. Read More...

Tracy Morgan may have had the most re-tweeted post of the day in my personal Twitter follow feed. I've re-tweeted it myself so that you can find out what he'll do for $15.

In other Twitter news, David Slade elaborated on a photo he posted yesterday, clarifying that the headlight shown does belong to Bella Swan's truck in "Eclipse." And speaking of "Twilight" movies, Jamie Campbell Bower took top honors for Twitter Pic of the Day today. I'm not entirely sure what his sign means or what promises he's fulfilling for his fans, but you can check it out and make that judgment for yourselves. Check all of those quotes and pics out below, along with Lindsay Lohan's paparazzi triumph, the puppet that hit on Ice-T's wife and much more. It's all after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 21, 2009. Read More...

Soon, very soon now, fans will get to see exactly what an Oliver Stone sequel looks like. The original hit theaters in 1987, earning Michael Douglas a Best Actor Oscar for his performance as shark Gordon Gekko. In the original, the morally bankrupt Gekko coaches young newcomer Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) as he enters the fast-paced world of stock trading.

Gekko finds some redemption in the coming sequel, "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps," when he links up with another young trader -- Jacob Moore (Shia LaBeouf) -- on the eve of a catastrophic financial crisis. It's not so unusual, to turn a one-time villain into a redemptive figure (see also: "Terminator 2: Judgment Day"). He'll even have a daughter in this outing, Winnie Gekko, played by Carey Mulligan. Call them "cult classics." "Guilty pleasures." "Comfort movies." We all have a mental rolodex of flicks that may not be terribly popular but, for one reason or another, they resonate in a very special way. Maybe you saw it at the right moment. Maybe you just see gold where everyone else sees feces. Whatever the case, these are the special favorites that you keep stashed away for sick days. Here are some of ours.

The time circuits are on, the flux capacitor is fluxing and I'm gonna take today's Sick Day Stash on a journey through time with the help of "Back to the Future Part III." The movie may be the weakest entry in this venerable trilogy but it's by no means a weak movie. Dare I say it's 1.21 gigawatts of marvelous? Read More...

"Michael Jackson's This Is It" isn't out until October 28. That's not too far away, relatively speaking, but considering how high the anticipation is running for this release it probably seems like an eternity to some of you.

In case you haven't been paying attention, "This Is It" is a distillation of the hours upon hours of rehearsal footage of Jackson preparing for his residency at London's O2 Arena, a gig he was preparing for when he passed away over the summer. Following some rights jockeying, "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega was handed the footage to craft into a documentary, which he did in record time. If the waiting has become unbearable, you can get a fix with the brief clip below, a portion of a rehearsal performance of "The Way You Make Me Feel."

This week, (limited) audiences will finally get to see what all the fuss was at this year's Cannes over director Lars Von Trier's art-horror flick, "Antichrist." The unconventional tale of a husband and wife who try to cope with the tragic loss of their son by hiding out in the woods takes a dark turn as the unnamed man's (Willem Dafoe) attempts to psychoanalyze his unnamed wife (Charlotte Gainsbourg) elicit a violent response. I don't want to spoil anything, but it is worth noting that the term "genital mutilation" has been thrown around to describe just a few of the horrors you'll witness as the story reaches its endgame.

MTV's Josh Horowitz had the opportunity recently to speak with Dafoe, who was more than happy to discuss the experience of working with Von Trier. As one of the founders of the Dogme 95 movement -- a style of filmmaking defined by a lengthy manifesto -- Von Trier is a unique soul among his fellow artists. He called himself "the world's greatest director" at Cannes this year, railing against those critics who panned "Antichrist." Read More...

I'm pretty darn excited to see "The Wolfman." The numerous delays don't necessarily bode well, nor does the February release window, but reports from the few screenings have been mostly positive. Plus, is there anyone better for the role of the titular werewolf than Benicio del Toro? So yes... my hopes remain high.

And hey, just because we're waiting for February, it doesn't mean there's nothing to gawk at. Try these 20+ new images on for size. Just click on the sample below to be whisked off to the newly updated flipbook.

It's been almost a week since Ridley Scott was in the trades. Did you miss seeing his name attached to another potential directorial gig? Well, this latest Scott news doesn't concern a new project. He has long talked about doing a movie about the Gucci family, which would presumably climax with the murder of former fashion mogul Maurizio Gucci, who was gunned down in 1995 by a hitman hired by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani. Now, according to Variety, Angelina Jolie has been offered the part of Reggiani.

Despite having more anticipated projects, like the "Alien" prequel (which we'd love to see Jolie star in), and more marketable ideas, like the "Monopoly" board game adaptation, on his plate, Scott is still actively developing "Gucci." The film is reportedly a priority for Fox 2000, which is in the process of hiring someone to rewrite the script. The story will span three decades, focusing not just on Maurizio Gucci's death but on his family's fashion empire in general. Read More...

FROM MTV.COM: As "Michael Jackson's This Is It" documentary gets closer to its October 28 theatrical release date, finally giving fans a chance to see how the King of Pop's last days unfolded, artists whose careers have been influence by MJ have been speaking out about him and their excitement about the film.

Ne-Yo said he'll be one of the first in line to catch a screening, while Justin Timberlake is looking forward to the most intimate portrait yet of the fallen icon. Now former B2K frontman Omarion has aired his thoughts on "This Is It" to MTV News, admitting that while he plans to see the doc, it remains a "touchy subject" for him.

Whether you're a fan of the "Hitman" movie adaptation or not, there's no denying that producer Adrian Askarieh forged a lucrative film based on the assassin-filled video game — and thanks to that success, Askarieh's setting his sights well past Agent 47.

In addition to "Hitman 2," the producer has plans in the works for adaptations of "Just Cause" and "Kane & Lynch." Askarieh provided gaming website Game Daily with a status update on all three of these projects.

"I'm doing 'Just Cause' right now, which I'm doing independently," the producer revealed. "[We're] going to shoot spring of next year because it's being financed independently and we're going to move like the wind on that. 'Just Cause' is probably going to be shot in someplace like Europe or Puerto Rico, or a combination of the two." Read More...
