While Olivia Wilde was making the media rounds last Friday, checking in on David Letterman the day after his extortion/infidelity clusterfrak and stopping by MTV News HQ for a chat, she was also getting ready to begin filming "The Next Three Days" in Pittsburgh.
Thankfully for everyone involved, our own Josh Horowitz had no embarrassing personal revelations to make during his time with Olivia, and the two ended up touching on her upcoming film role. Mind you, she didn't tell us much – or anything, really, beyond what has popped up in the trades over the past several months. But the 25-year-old "House" star was simply so lovely as she declared her preference for "playing it safe" when it came to plot details that it's hard for us to complain.
Adapted from a French thriller, "Three Days" stars Russell Crowe as a college professor whose wife, played by Elizabeth Banks, is tossed in jail for a homicide she swears she didn't commit. Crowe then decides he'll do anything to get her out of lockup. As Wilde put it, he is "a devoted husband who proves his love for his wife by doing some very dangerous things."
Wilde herself takes on the role of "another woman who Russell Crowe comes into contact with." Like I said, not a whole lot of detail there. But honestly, you should just click on the video to hear Wilde's pronunciation of the original French title, "Pour Elle," which roughly translates to "Anything For Her." The actress claims her accent is terrible, but I'm quite sure it will be music to your ears.
