We still don’t know the answer to that burning question from “Lost’s” mindblowing finale to Season 5, or to any of the other 1,275 questions we have about the show. But “Lost” fans did learn a few juicy nuggets about the show’s upcoming final season during a raucous panel Saturday at Comic-Con.

Among the details executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof revealed to an at-capacity crowd in Hall H:

Elizabeth Mitchell, who’s starring in the fall debut “Flash Forward,” will be back for Season 6. In what capacity or time period, they wouldn’t say. Read More...

He's been here for "Devil's Rejects," and today Rob Zombie returned to Comic-Con for "Halloween 2." But before he did his panel in front of thousands of screaming fans, he dropped by the MTV studio for a quick chat about his film and what's next for the filmmaker/musician. Before he left, Zombie agreed to pose in our Comic-Con photo booth, where we got the pic you see below.

By now you've already heard about Johnny Depp's surprise appearance during Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" panel, so now the question is: was it planned?

Burton weighed in on his star's brief but roof-raising appearance at Comic-Con in an exclusive chat with MTV News.

"He saved me there," Burton told MTV News. "I'm struggling away and then he walks out... and it was good."

As for where Depp disappeared to after the panel, Burton said it wasn't entirely unlikely that the mega-star took a tour of the floor -- possibly as one of his most iconic characters.

"He's never been [to Comic-Con] ... and i don't know, he could've dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow and just been one of many," laughed the director.

In town for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," Danny Devito dropped by the MTV studio and unsurprisingly was one of our funniest guests. Someone the conversation turned to nudity with Danny describing an upcoming episode where he bares all. "People want to see my naked body," the actor says, noting that he'd love to share the experience with a certain Angelina Jolie.

Watch him chat in the video below, and then click here for more of our video interviews from the show, including with Denzel Washington, Neil Gaiman, Anna Faris and more.

TitanicDuring Friday night's conversational panel featuring celebrated filmmakers Peter Jackson and James Cameron, the pair revealed that they might revisit some older projects now that 3D technology is becoming more viable in theaters.

According to Cameron, his experience with the much-anticipated 3D film "Avatar" prompted him to look back on another big-budget, special-effects project in his rearview mirror. The director said he plans to "dimensionalize" (convert to 3D) his 1997 film "Titanic."

Over the course of the panel, the directing duo revealed that they'd bonded over their mutual love for 3D filmmaking. In fact, Jackson said he'd like to go 3D with his "Lord of the Ring" trilogy, too.

Saying he'd "love to convert the 'Lord of the Rings,'" Jackson said the current economic climate has studios viewing the cost of adapting theaters to 3D technology very skeptically. For his part, Cameron said that's all going to change once "Avatar" arrives.

Would you like to see "Titanic" and "Lord of the Rings" in 3D?

"Machete," the first film spawned from the too-cool trailers peppering Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez' "Grindhouse" double feature will begin shooting next week, according to Rodriguez -- and Lindsay Lohan has a role waiting for her.

The "Sin City" director dropped by Movies Blog HQ to promote his upcoming family-friendly feature "Shorts," and while he was there, we had to get an update on the Danny Trejo-starring trailer that's soon to become a full-length film.

"I can't say too much about it except we start shooting in a couple weeks," Rodriguez told MTV News. "These things come together very quickly and we're casting right now. The script just came out great."

Along with addressing the uncommon need for the film to live up to its trailer, the director said the only official casting thus far has been Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez. While he wouldn't confirm rumors that Robert DeNiro might have a role in the film, he did say that Lindsay Lohan has a part waiting for... if she wants it.

"Lindsay's cool," said Rodriguez. "There's actually cool part in the movie for her if she takes it."

Looking forward to "Machete"? What do you think about Robert DeNiro or Lindsay Lohan joining the cast?

One of our most anticipated films is "9," an animated sci-fi flick which sees nine ragdolls surviving in a post-apocalyptic wasteland (watch two minutes exclusively here). Producing "9" is none other than Tim Burton, which is why the filmmaker dropped into our studio here at Comic-Con. Before he left, we asked if he'd pose for our photo booth and being the good-natured fella that he is, he readily agreed. Check out his pose below, and then click here for the rest of our photo booth gallery, which includes everyone from Anna Faris to Neil Gaiman.

San Diego Comic-ConThe lines between celebrities and fans get thrown out the window in many cases at Comic-Con, and posts in the Twitter-Wood feed over the last few days have offered some great insight into who's gushing over whom. Today, Kevin Smith gets sappy about Neil Gaiman, Tyrese gets starry eyed about Jim Lee, and the "Twilight" crew was just happy to show up. I plucked a few pictures and tweets to illustrate.

Comic-Con International is only halfway over, though, and plenty more celebs are just now arriving at the party. "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau and Robert Rodriguez can be counted among them. Shoot on down below, and you'll catch details from them, Tom Felton's bizarre encounter at his car, and Wil Wheaton's candid take on Hollywood folks on the show floor. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for July 24, 2009. Read More...

So here's the "Saw VI" trailer. I confess, I've never seen a single one of these movies. I don't have anything against them, I'm just not a big fan of excessive gore and that's the vibe I get from each and every trailer I've seen. It's a shame too, as many of my friends speak of the first "Saw" in hushed tones alongside the likes of "Se7en" and "Silence of the Lambs." Plus, those traps always look cool as hell.

There's nothing particularly revealing in this trailer on first viewing. Slow it down, pause it up and check out those screens in the background... you get some glimpses. I don't know what's going on, but I'm sure those scenes all involve sadistic traps designed to teach people painful lessons. Just a hunch. Hit the jump to see the first "Saw VI" poster as well.
