For as long as he can remember, Shia LaBeouf has not been allowed to talk about the Fallen. Tonight however, the muzzle comes off.

“I don’t know how much of this I can divulge,” the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” star told us when we caught up with him. “I can really get into a lot of trouble if I start getting into specifics.”

Well tonight is the big night. To help us count down to Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, the “Transformers” team has given us permission to reveal the sequel’s main villain tonight at 9:01 PST. Keep an eye on MTV.com, as Shia will be giving us a personal tour of the Transformer that everybody is dying to see.” Read More...

MTV News welcomes Shelly Morrison as our official Movie Awards Insider for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. From now until the big show on Sunday, Shelly will be mixing it up with the hottest celebrities and taking you behind closed doors for one of Hollywood's biggest events.

As I wrote yesterday, "Paper Heart" and "Knocked Up" star Charlyne Yi and I hung out at Mann's Chinese Theater. She wanted to share the interviewing experience she gained from her upcoming movie "Paper Heart" with me, since this weekend I'll be on the at the MTV Movie Awards interviewing the stars.

The first thing to remember is to always compliment the interviewee. I tried it out on her and complemented her awesome gray sweatshirt, complete with giant blue pen stain. I was freezing and it looked so warm. Read More...

Eminem and Triumph the Insult Comic DogThis fact hasn't been discussed too much, but Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is one of the presenters at this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Longtime MTV viewers should be well aware of why this is significant, particularly with Eminem on the performance roster, but I'll fill the rest of you in on the history. Make no mistake, there is quite a history.

Triumph has appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards numerous times. Since dishing out insults is sort of his "thing," some of those appearances have been... well... problematic. And where Eminem is concerned, they've been downright explosive. Triumph interviewed a number of celebs at the 2002 Video Music Awards, but was shoved away by Eminem's bodyguards when he approached the rapper. Triumph responded later in the evening with a mock press conference in which he told Eminem to "lighten up." Read More...

I had a pretty cool surprise this morning after we got done with the morning news meeting. I actually got to hold one of the popcorn awards! So cool! It was so fun getting to see it up close and personal. It was surprisingly heavier than I was expecting, and the popcorn kernels up close are so realistic, almost good enough to eat. It is as if they took pieces of popcorn and dipped them in gold.

I even got to shoot a little acceptance speech, which you should come back later and watch!

What’s a girl to do! With Sunday right around the corner and Stephanie Pratt attending the MTV Movie Awards, she must make the big decision about what she’s going to wear to the show.

So, she met up with fashion designer Ina Soltani at Film Fashion in Los Angeles and tried on some of the designers frilly, girly frocks. And, apparently Stephanie was in the mood for orange since two of the dresses she picked happened to be that color. Read More...

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to conjure up all of the funny stuff that celebrities say when they grace the stage at awards shows? You know, like Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards? Well MTV News got an inside look at the silliness and crazy behavior that the Movie Awards writers exhibit as they prepare their script for May 31.

Part of the process of making all of that magical wordplay happen involves the writers rehearsing the lines themselves. They pretend to be the celebrity presenters in order to work out the logistics of the scripts and get an idea of just how funny it’s all going to be on the night of the big show.

For instance, two of the writers pretend to be “Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester and rapper Lil Wayne as they present the award for Best Song. Of course, you can't plan for certain things; maybe Lil Wayne shows up a little buzzed and Meester calls him on it. Read More...

Eli RothWe'll be seeing Eli Roth soon enough when he appears on August 21 as Sgt. Donny Donowitz in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds." For those who are worried that the "Hostel" director has been gone too long from behind the camera, there is hope. Roth revealed his next two two projects in an interview with Empire.

First up is an entirely new sci-fi story, "Endangered Species." Roth had nothing specific to say about the project other than the title. Said the man himself, "that's the first time I've uttered those two words."

The next bit of news is potentially more exciting for fans who are familiar with Roth's past work. Read More...
