It’s Robert Pattinson’s birthday, so MTV News is commemorating this momentous event with our favorite pics of RPattz! Were you more a fan of his look during his wizard stick-wielding days as Cedric Diggory, or was it his pale skin and perfectly messy hair in “Twilight” that made you swoon the most?
The obvious answer to that question would be ‘both,’ but since I feel a bit pressured to come up with a response, my vote goes to the brooding, bad boy photos from his GQ photo spread. Even in black and white, he’s still dreamy. I don’t smoke, but doesn’t he look sexy when he has that cigarette in his mouth? In fact, this photo is so amazing that it’s my desktop wallpaper!
Some may find it crazy that these photos made it on my list, but I can honestly say that the pictures with Robert rocking the short hair are some of my absolute favorites. Whether he’s walking on the street with a flannel shirt or at the Oscars sporting a tux, the short hair is definitely a great look for him. The messy locks are sort of his trademark hairdo, but when it comes to Robert he could shave his head and we’d still love him.
Of course, I also had to include Robert’s “Little Ashes” look into the mix. He has slicked back hair and a curly cue mustache and he still looks amazing!
I actually saw Robert on the red carpet at last year’s Video Music Awards, but I was running around so much that it didn’t even really sink in that he was just a few feet away from me. I probably would’ve been too nervous to say ‘hello’ anyway. Nonetheless, I had to include his ’08 VMA photos in this flipbook, so that I can remember the day I almost got the chance to talk to him.
