'Transformers'Michael Bay’s movies are big. His explosions are enormous. His robots are gigantic. Now, his runtime for the next “Transformers” movie is also getting bigger.

A little while back, our pal Frosty at Collider had a very revealing interview with the blockbuster director in which he said that the length of his upcoming “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” was over 2 hours as he was editing it in early February. So, when we spoke with him recently, we made sure to get an update.

“It’s four minutes longer than the last one,” explained Bay, saying that the runtime was locked. “So, go figure it out.” Read More...

A few weeks ago we brought you exclusive "How to Be" photos, over which Twilight fans everywhere swooned. Today, a brand new trailer from the comedy has hit Yahoo!. Robert Pattinson plays Art, a singer/songwriter who is having a self-proclaimed quarter-life crisis and seeks help from a Canadian self-help guru.

Ask acclaimed novelist Bret Easton Ellis what “The Informers” is about, and you get nearly a minute of silences, false starts, and heavy exhaling.

“Um…A week in the lives of a group of people in Los Angeles in 1983, focusing mainly on…I guess, a trio of guys…” he eventually attempts, before scampering for a copy of the 1994 novel that serves as the basis for the new film. “Um…I’ve got a paperback of the book here. What does this say? No, that’s not a good synopsis either.”

“You’ve seen it. What do you think it’s about?” the writer of “Less Than Zero” and “American Psycho” finally asks. Read More...

Chris PineOne of the hottest young actors in Hollywood right now is Chris Pine, who’ll hit theaters May 8th as the new Captain Kirk in “Star Trek.” But these days, the actor has his eye on another big-screen adaptation of a classic TV show.

“We’ve talked about it,” Pine revealed to MTV recently when we asked whether he had approached his old friend Joe Carnahan about reuniting for the upcoming “A-Team” movie. “I’d love to.”

Carnahan gave Pine his first big break as an action star with the 2006 film “Smokin’ Aces,” and now that the director has been handed the keys to the high-profile film adaptation of the Mr. T show, Pine has been reminding the filmmaker that “A-Team” was one of his favorite TV shows growing up. Another member of the Volturi has been cast. Michael Sheen joins the "New Moon" cast as Aro, joining fellow Volturi Dakota Fanning (Jane) and Jamie Campbell-Bower (Caius). Aro, the Volturi leader, can read the thoughts of those he has physically touched.

Sheen, having played Lucian in the "Underworld" series, is no stranger to the vampire vs. werewolf conflict. Although the films draw on some of the same themes as the "Twilight" series (hello forbidden love!), he will be playing for the other team this time, switching gears from werewolf to vampire. Could this provide some interesting insight for the Aro character? (Check out a shot of Michael Sheen after the jump, plus browse through our newly updated "New Moon" casting gallery.) Read More...

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'Last month's new "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" offered a peek at Voldemort's dark origins and some first looks at Professor McGonagall, Narcissa Malfoy and Luna Lovegood in this summer's sixth Potter movie. Now, there's a newly cut international trailer making the rounds that mainly focuses on Horace Slughorn and Harry in the present.

Most of the footage can be found in the March trailer and another that was made for Japan, but with the film's July 17 release still a few months off, little glimpses like this sequence, MTV's behind-the-scenes "Half-Blood Prince" set visit and a few character posters will have to suffice. Roger RabbitBunny rabbits are bizarre. No other animal can carry super-cute and super-psychotic roles quite so well as these long-eared Easter staples. Just ask Anne Hathaway.

The Easter Bunny has seen plenty of screen time himself over the years, in everything from wholesome family-friendly specials like "Yogi the Easter Bear" to twisted B-horror concoctions like "Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!" And whether they're actual animals, inspirations for human characters like Clive Owen's Bugs Bunny homage in "Shoot 'Em Up," or just name nods like Eminem's Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith in "8 Mile," these critters are an integral part of movie culture. So in honor of Easter, here are ten great twitchy-nosed rabbit performances that have left their mark on film -- for better or worse. Read More...

Miley CyrusEarlier this week, Miley Cyrus embraced New York cool when she showed up in all black at a screening of "Hannah Montana: The Movie" in Times Square. But on the red carpet for the movie's Nashville premiere, the 16-year-old star chose a considerably more colorful look.

In a coral and white, sari-like one-shouldered Missoni dress, Miley stole the show from all of the attendees, including her statuesque BFF Taylor Swift, as well as more random guests like Ben Folds (with his kids in tow). Dad Billy Ray was there to support his little girl, but unfortunately, boyfriend Justin Gaston didn't grace the carpet. Read More...

Seth Rogen in 'Pineapple Express'Jeff Sneider

Did anyone watch the Oscars this year, or was it just me and a few million other brave souls?

If you did tune in, surely you remember Seth Rogen and James Franco reprising their "Pineapple Express" characters in a hilarious skit co-starring famed cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, whose collaborations with Steven Spielberg have yielded a couple movies called "Saving Private Ryan" and "Schindler's List."

Which brings us to a recent interview in which Rogen indulged the possibility of a “Pineapple Express” sequel. “Of all the movies we’ve done, that’s the only one that I would actually like to do a sequel to and we talk about it,” Rogen told us. Read More...

Michel GondryMichel Gondry is one of the few directors on the market who is sought after both for his full-length and music video direction. The Oscar winner, whose next big project will be Seth Rogen's "Green Hornet" movie, has directed videos for Beck, The White Stripes, The Rolling Stones and most famously Björk, all of whom are represented on his new DVD retrospective, "Michel Gondry 2: More Videos."

"There is nothing more exciting for me than viewing the animation shots," Gondry said in a press release. "There is a feeling of trying a new (legal) drug as the condensation of hours of work become seconds of moving things." Read More...
