'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" hits theaters in a few months (check out today's exclusive movie standee debut), but an MTV demo of the "Revenge of the Fallen" tie-in video game today offered a few more peeks at one of the movie's most eagerly anticipated additions: the massive Decepticon called "Devastator."

While the game's developer had to keep quiet on the biggest (literally) addition to the film's roster of giant robots due to how closely the game is modeled on the movie, there were a few Devastator-related bits and pieces to glean from the event (though no images, unfortunately). Production coordinator Mike Mejia took MTV News through a climactic battle with the massive Decepticon set in streets of Cairo late in the demo -- an encounter that Mejia said was pulled directly from the plot of the film.

And that wasn't all there was to learn about Devastator and (as fans of the series will be glad to hear) the Constructicons that unite to form the villain. Read more...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceThe Harry Potter movies are reaching their dark climax with "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" coming to theaters in July. The latest trailers and posters offered a brief glimpse of the maturing Hogwarts kids as Harry gradually becomes more aware of Voldemort's origins. Off-screen, however, David Yates and his crew are filming the final installment from J.K. Rowling's series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" -- and that includes the epic's final epilogue, where the original cast members will appear older than ever.

"We will shoot it," producer David Heyman confirmed for MTV News. Rowling wrote a flash-forward ending to "The Deathly Hallows" that shows where the characters end up as they grow older. Heyman also indicated that the original Hogwarts actors would be filling those roles for the sequence, rather than being replaced by older lookalikes. Read more...

Yesterday was a big day for Twilighters: Summit sent a press release that principle photography has begun on the "Twilight" sequel, an announcement that came with some big casting news. The Volturi now includes Charlie Bewley as Demetri, Daniel Cudmore as Felix, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, Cameron Bright as Alec and confirmation that runway model Noot Seer does in fact play Heidi. Previously known Volturi included Dakota Fanning as Jane, Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius and the recent news that Michael Sheen will play Aro. Michael BayHe’s known for making the biggest movies in the world, awesome spectacles of big-budget, bombast, and blown-up stuff. Now, Michael Bay wants to take a break between “Transformers” sequels to make – a small, personal film?
