It was almost like an "Ocean's" movie premiere, except a younger generation. Instead of Brad Pitt and George Clooney, the "Star Trek" world premiere in Sydney, Australia included the likes of Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine.
Both Quinto and Pine, along with John Cho, Eric Bana, director J.J. Abrams and other cast members all showed up in very smart, dark suits. While most wore quite button-downs, Quinto and Bana chose black shirts under their dark suits. Bana also went against the pack and decided against wearing a tie. All the gentlemen wore variations on a very traditional theme, each tweaking the look to make it his own. (Check out some shots of the guys after the jump, plus all the photos from Sydney in our "Star Trek" world premiere gallery.)
But really, I'm in it for those piercing baby blues. Chris Pine's baby blues, that is! It doesn't matter what he's wearing to accessorize those eyes.
"Star Trek" doesn't actually hit theaters for another month -- May 8 here in the United States -- but it's safe to assume that Sydney's just the first stop on the cast's worldwide publicity tour. Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of Abrams, Bana, Quinto, Cho, Pine and the rest of the cast in the coming weeks. Now the only question is, when are Simon Pegg and the girls going to join in?
