It was all smiles yesterday evening in Hollywood where director Zack Snyder and his "Watchmen" cast were gracing the MTV News screening of "Watchmen" for our new episode of "Spoilers," airing this Saturday at 8PM EST.
Hundreds of lucky films were treated to a viewing of the full movie, with Zack Snyder taking the stage afterward for a Q&A. You can watch some of that fun in the video below and read about it here, but you'll have to tune in Saturday to see more of the antics including exclusive interviews with the entire cast of "Watchmen," in addition to first looks at "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Star Trek," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and more.

America's sweetheart will rocket into theaters this spring, but before she does Miley Cyrus will first light up your local toy store. The singing sensation has a full line of products tied to the April 10 release of "Hannah Montana: The Movie," and we got an exclusive first look at what's in store.
In the film, Miley's father takes her back to hometown Tennessee to get away from the flashing lights of Hollywood and to bring his daughter back down to earth. Along the way (of course), she falls for an old friend. All that -- and her large white horse -- will be featured as products, including (for the first time, we're told) a singing Miley doll. Check it out below, and don't forget to check out our coverage of the "Twilight" merchandise either.

Last week, GM rolled out its brand new Camaro and Corvette Stingray designs that are going to double as Autobots for Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
As it turns out, Michael Bay personally selected concepts from GM's design studio for the new film -- a process that allowed him intimate access to some of GM's most closely guarded plans. And that privilege was granted as a direct result of the trust he built with the company during his first "Transformers" installment. Read more...

Ben Stiller may finally have his "Meet the Parents" trilogy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Meet the Little Fockers" is rapidly becoming a reality at Universal.
There's no surprise what the film will revolve around, since Gaylord and Pam Focker were not only married but expecting at the end of the second film. Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Robert DeNiro are all in negotiations to reprise their roles, with Wilson's role being expanded. Somehow, we suspect his perfect ex-fiancee and minister will probably be a nanny or child psychologist that shows up poor Gaylord Focker in the ways of raising children. Read more...

Last October, we brought you news that Ashton Kutcher was mixing a little more bullets and blood with his broad comedy with "Five Killers." Now he's got a costar who is clearly itching for a chance to fire a gun, as Variety reports that Katherine Heigl has just signed on to help him fend off those five killers.
The initial storyline was an action comedy centered on a former hit man whose ugly past came back to finish him off. Now the film is being touted as a thriller, but has added the distinctly unthrilling element of romantic comedy, as Heigl will be playing a single girl who meets Mr. Right while on vacation. FROM SPLASH PAGE: When last we heard from the "Conan" revamp camp, director Brett Ratner was adamantly dismissing rumors that he'd signed on to direct a "Conan" remake, saying the "Conan" news was premature and his next project would be "Beverly Hills Cop 4."
However, he's certainly not denying his desire to take on Cimmeria's resident berzerker in a big screen update. In fact, the director behind "X-Men: The Last Stand" already has ideas on how he'd handle casting.

A good story concept can sure get a lot of mileage in the entertainment world. Nearly a decade after Academy Award-nominated “Billy Elliot” hit theaters, we’ve seen the screenplay’s adapted into “Billy Elliot: The Musical” in London and on Broadway. Now, its studio is eager to pull a “Hairspray” and bring the musical to the big screen – so, why is director Stephen Daldry hesitant about once again dusting off Billy’s ballet shoes?
Daldry -- who has been nominated for a best director Oscar for “The Reader,” and earned his first nomination for “Billy” -- directed the musical version of the tale of a boy raised by his testosterone-fueled father, who chooses ballet over boxing. The musical has won over audiences in London, Melbourne and now, New York City. “’Billy Elliot: The Musical’ just opened up in Broadway,” Daldry told us recently. “And now we’re going to open that in San Francisco, and take that around the country.” Read more...

Now that “Friday the 13th” holds the record for biggest horror-movie opening weekend of all time , and Michael Bay’s firm grasp on Hollywood’s crown has become tighter than ever, that noise you hear is pens swish-swishing hurriedly across contracts for the next Platinum Dunes project: The remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
But who will play Freddy Krueger? With 61-year-old veteran actor Robert Englund out of the picture, here are a few of the high-profile actors who could slip into the role for a sleeker, 21st-Century take on the maniacal murderer:
Jackie Earle Haley – He’s got a bald head, a sarcastic/sadistic charm, and an Oscar nomination on his resume. Still not convinced that the “Watchmen” star has what it takes to play the “Elm Street” tormentor? Check out his performance in “Little Children,” where he plays a fractured, self-mutilating freak with a history of preying on innocent kids. It sure wouldn’t seem like much of a stretch to imagine a few of those neighborhood parents setting Jackie Earle on fire, only to be haunted for years to come.
