The Academy Awards just happen to be the most glamorous night in Hollywood. So, being one of the glamorous people here at MTV News, I will be live-blogging the Oscars red carpet one fashion hit and miss at a time! (And of course, you’re here to tell me if you agree or disagree, so speak up in the comments section!) I can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing!

6:05 p.m. ET: Miley Cyrus is the early bird and she looks like she caught some sort of princess worm. Decked out in a tiered white dress with silver sparkles, Miley's dress is one Scarlett O'Hara would be proud of. Also, just saw "Milk" star Emile Hirsch in a little black suit.

6:22: "Mamma Mia!" star Dominic Cooper just arrived, and Hugh Jackman has confirmed that he will be performing with him, as well as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

6:30: Speaking of, Zac just arrived in a tux and bow tie and slicked-back hair. Oh, to be 17 again! And, he's followed by Vanessa Hudgens in a black gown with white flowers and black sequin detailing. She says she wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn. If she says so... Read more...

Twilighters you can breath again! Robert Pattinson has kept his promise and made his way onto the carpet. Pattinson being the idol of teen grils everywhere looked decidedly handsome and pulled together in his tuxedo.

But, he kept it real (and youthful) by being a little scruffy and messy. And, it appears his hair is growing out quite nicely from the buzz cut, just in time for him to go back to work on Twilight's sequel, "New Moon." He kept it all swoonworthy!

If I could attend any red carpet of the awards season, I think it'd have to be the Independent Spirit Awards red carpet. Indy darlings like Ellen Page and Hollywood A-listers like Jessica Alba always seem to be having such a great time, relaxing and having a blast on the night before the Oscars.

And let's face it, Hollywood's biggest night is serious and serious pressure. Not that the Indy Spirit awards aren't also a big deal, but it's just a completely opposite vibe. Check out what I mean. "Marshall, Will, and Holly/ On a routine expedition..." It's one of the most famous theme songs in television history and if you were wondering whether it'd find its way into the big-budget "Land of the Lost" movie, the answer is a big yes.

In case you haven’t heard, the “Eclipse” release date has been leaked. And my honest thoughts? I could put a hundred more G’s after my “OMG!” and it wouldn’t even begin to convey them.

Okay, Twilighters, here’s the good news: You’ve made it to prime time. The release date is in late June, prime tentpole territory typically reserved for the likes of Will Smith, superheroes and hundred-million-dollar Michael Bay movies. No more of these November, let’s-hope-we-catch-the-teens-while-they’re-home-for-the-holidays release dates for you guys. In fact, a quick peek at the 2010 release schedule shows that “Eclipse” will be butting heads with such heavyweights as “Prince of Persia,” “Toy Story 3” and Jackson Rathbone’s “The Last Airbender.” Read more...

Thursday night, on a flight from Los Angeles to New York, I settled into my emergency-exit-row seat next to a woman with ginger-colored hair who looked familiar but I couldn't quite place. We talked casually during the flight — I taught her about Google video chat and she told me about her daughter, Caprice Crane, a writer and producer who is working on the new "90210." (I then launched into a rant of how obsessed I am with the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," which I immediately regretted — I can be a little fanatical about that show ...)

Anyway, I finally asked her what she did for a living. She told me that she now works with kids but that she used to be an actor. When I asked what I might have seen her in, she laughed and said that people knew her best from "Gilligan's Island." Ummm ... it took me until we were 36,000 feet over Iowa to realize that I was talking to TINA LOUISE, a.k.a. GINGER from "GILLIGANS ISLAND"!! I basically flipped out (silently), and then offered to share my car service with her back to New York after we landed (after the jump, Tina's reaction to rumors of Beyoncé snagging the movie role!). Three years ago, Ben Stiller took a night watchman’s job at the Museum of Natural History; $250 million later, it was obvious that movie theater patrons were eager to see his exhibit once again.

Hence, “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” which will come to life in theaters everywhere May 22nd. And once again, Stiller’s secret weapon will be “Reno 911!” stars/hotshot Hollywood writers Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon.

“The big mandate for ‘Night at the Museum 2’ came from Ben Stiller - he is one of the funniest guys you’ll ever meet - and he said the only rule for ‘Museum 2’ was that it had to be funnier than the first ‘Night at the Museum’,” explained Lennon. “And we said ‘Okay, that sounds great; we’ll go from there,’ and the cast started getting better and better, until it was just literally a who’s who of the funniest people in the world.”

While Hollywood and young girls everywhere are abuzz with rumors of AnnaLynne McCord's potential "New Moon" casting (come on, she'd be perfect as Leah, not that you asked), the "90210" starlet has a lot going on. Her movie "Fired Up," a cheer leading flick, is out today, and yesterday at the premiere McCord showed off her tiny smokin' hot bod in a feisty black mini at the premiere.

Now, I'm no fashion genius, but if you're wearing a completely backless dress, and the top-half of the dress is not form-fitting, you stand up very straight with your shoulders back as to prevent any "oopsies" from happening. Being the daring chic that she is (or at least how she is on "90210"), McCord performed a pretty precarious act while leaning forward to blow kisses to the waiting cameras.
