It's been a much talked-about subject: with Will Smith's interest in potentially playing our new president Barack Obama, could that lead to something real? If that happened, director Spike Lee seems like someone who'd be interested in telling Obama's rags-to-riches story.

Not so fast. Lee tells MTV News that he has no interest in an Obama biopic. "Everybody and their mama is doing a documentary on Obama," he said during an interview for his new Sundance film "The Passing Strange." Watch his comments firsthand in the video below, and then click here to read more about it.

Arcade FireFor the first time, “Donnie Darko” writer/director Richard Kelly is spilling details about his highly anticipated collaboration with the Arcade Fire for his upcoming horror morality tale, “The Box.”

“They’re just like my favorite band, period,” Kelly tells MTV News. “And I just have always felt that their stuff was really cinematic.” After showing the “Box” script to Arcade songwriter Win Butler, the director and the band traveled to Toronto, where they recorded 80 minutes of original music with a full orchestra, including strings, brass and a rich, polyphonic keyboard called a Mellotron. Singer Régine Chassagne contributed vocal elements to the score. Read More...

The wave of emotion that emanated today from Washington D.C. even reached Park City, Utah. Yes, even with movies to sell all the actors and filmmakers MTV News spoke to today had one thing on the brain: President Obama. Well, actually Chris Rock was thinking more about former President George W. Bush. "George Bush is NOT president," he grinned and repeated and grinned again. A small part of that smile might also be attributed to his new documentary, "Good Hair" that just debuted here to positive attention.

If the future of video is online, then Craig Brewer is already there. As the writer and director of "Hustle and Flow," Brewer rode his film into one of the biggest deals in Sundance history, and saw it launch Terrance Howard's career.

Now Brewer is back, teaming with MTV New Media, to launch a music-flavored webisode series titled $5 Cover. The concept is a novel one: each roughly 8-minute webisode follows a local musician in Memphis, Tennessee. The players are real, but their stories are often fictionalized, and the "characters" will drive in and out of other episodes. There will be 15 webisodes in total, so click here to check out Craig Brewer's "$5 Cover," and get the low-down in the video below.

Just about one year after our very first "Twilight" interview with Kristen Stewart, we're back at Sundance and so is she!

By now you must have scene -- as any decent Twilighter would have -- that we spoke with Kristen while she was promoting her festival film "Adventureland." She first sat down with co-star Margarita Levieva and they took their MTV photo booth photos before starting the interview. Half way through, Margarita swapped out and Jesse Eisenberg swapped in to finish up the chat, which you can check out in our Sundance Edition of our Rough Cut show.

While all this was going on, we took tons of photos, which you can check out in our behind-the-scenes gallery, and check out a sneak peek after the jump. Read More...

We've been covering rumors of an "Arrested Development" movie for nearly a year now, and have spoken about it to most of the actors involved. Everyone from Jason Bateman and Will Arnett have voiced their support of bringing the cult show to the bigscreen. But recently a newer rumor popped up claiming that Cera was the lone holdout of the cast. So is it true?

Speaking to MTV News to promote his Sundance film "Paper Heart," Cera refuted the rumors, saying that he's merely waiting for a script. But that may be a long time coming, claims the actor, labeling the film as "more hypothetical than people think." Check out his (rather hilarious) comments in the video below, and then click here to watch all of our celebrity interviews from Sundance, including Kristen Stewart, Jim Carrey, Mike Tyson and many more.

While it wasn't like the National Mall, Main Street here in Park City was still filled with people watching giant screens tuned to the inauguration ceremony. The Sundance Film Festival unofficially paused this morning for about an hour, when President Barack Obama took his oath and spoke to America for the first time as our President.

The crowed clapped and cheered, and, in some small way, it felt like we were almost there. Like those lucky enough to be in Washington on this historic day, we shared the experience with both friends and strangers alike. Here are some photos from our inauguration celebration:
