Given the amount of jokes hurled towards security guards, it's strange there haven't been more movies dedicated to the "rent-a-cops" of America. But all that's about to change, as two different "shopping mall security guard" movies hurl themselves into theaters in 2009. Seth Rogen's "Observe and Report" drops in April, but first we'll have Kevin James' crime caper "Paul Blart: Mall Cop."
The film follows the adventures of Blart, a bumbling, Segway-driving guard who inadvertently stumbles onto a gang of criminals who are taking over the mall. Naturally it's up to him to save the day, but first there's the obligatory chase scene, which you can see below in our exclusive clip. "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" will hit your local multiplex on January 16.
